In case of death

Hey! Although my military career field isn't exactly the most deadly one in the world, and I suppose there are civilians with a greater chance of death than I have, it just makes me feel better to plan for these things.

I am able to fill out a form called a RED (Record of Emergency Data) which is basically a list of people who are informed incase of my death. Right now I only have listed the family members who I feel are key in dispersing my information to the rest of my family. What of my friends, though? If I should kick the bucket there are many people who I would like to hear of my demise who have no regular contact with my family! This forum is a group of those such people.

WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO: I need a single person who feels they are up to the challenge of answering my death toll. You will receive a message that I no longer exist along with contact information for my family. You will contact them, let them know the dizzy fo' rizzy, and get information about the funeral arangements or whatever. The information will be posted in the forum and anybody who wants to attend my last goodbye can come!

Originally I was planning of just asking Stephanie, but I came to the conclusion it was a bit unfair to thrust that responsibility onto a person who I barely know, no matter how strong of a kinship I feel towards her.

If you feel you can live up to the challenge, please respond. In this thread I will also answer any questions that you all may have.

    Ah, good. Because for a moment there I thought this was a transparent plot to get Jakey and I to battle for the responsibility, seeing as we both love a good somber duty. But it'll take more than that to turn Jakey and I against each other!
