Yikes. I've heard of various trisomy defects (meaning ONE extra gene, Down Syndrome is probably the most widely known of these), but never tetra- or pentasomy anything. Makes me glad I'm not getting into genetics or medicine. Poor people.
Well XYY is possible, but I'm pretty sure just two Y's isn't. There's also XXY and just a single X. But the worst affects are slight retardation and sterility so it's not that bad.
XXY is a hermaphrodite. XYY has been found to occur (I can't remember an exact statistic) far more frequently in incarcerated males than in males in the general public. It may be a cause of extra aggression, but can be controlled if the person is properly raised. In other words, it probably makes no difference.
Heh, happy belated Pi Day. Every year at my school one of the math teachers celebrates pi day with a party, with lots of pie (of course!). This year pi day was during spring break, so she had it the friday before we left... and although I was at school I had to go to a orchestra competition thingy. Sad stuff... I missed out on pie! A calculus class where we WEREN'T thinking about math equations, and I missed it!! Poop.
They thought an extra Y caused aggression for a little while, but then more studies showed that it was a more common affliction than they thought. There's not that big a difference in frequency between convicts and non, and generally those that are incarcerated aren't in for violent crimes, generally something like theft or burglary.

But they always seemed so normal.
I'll give ol' Einie a pic when I get back to my normal computer

Yeah, looks like you have to have at least one X to be alive, at least if you're human.
Must've been XYY, then.
Happy belated pi day!
places after the decimal that is.
