I am so pissed off right now.

I went to Gamestop today, and I was browsing around, while looking I found a used copy of Total Overdose: A Gunslinger's Tale in Mexico for $13. I decided to pick it up, since I've heard good things about it. I get home, put it in, and it's quite fun. Then about 5 minutes in, the game blanks out, and shows a screen of the things that are available in the game, then after a couple screens, it tells me the full version of the game is available in 2005.

So, I take the disk out, and remove a sticker that was on the CD, and lo and behold, "Not For Resale: Demo Disk" is what I see. I know it's not Gamestop's fault, but I'm still unbelievably pissed off right now.

Remember this emotion for when you become a famous actor and get asked to star in a new version of The Incredible Hulk.

Wow, that sucks ass. At least you only paid $13 bucks for it. It could've been much worse.

well imagine what the actual price will be if the DEMO is 13 bucksaroonies

$20. Neither Gamestop nor I knew that it was a demo disk, whoever traded it in put that sticker on there with malicous intent.

Hopefully they'll give you your money back. Your receipt should state the title of the game on it, and if it doesn't include the word "demo" anywhere on it, then they sold you the wrong game, and should either exchange it or refund it.

Or you could just shoot up the place. That works equally well.

I traded it in and got a new copy of the game. No big deal now.

If they don't give you a refund, SUE THEM!
    SUE!
    SUE!
    SUE!

I am also mad! A dog chewed the cord of one of my nunchuck controllers!

    JERK!

My father knows electric stuff! He's fixed countless dog-chewed controllers!

    Hehe.

Yeah, demo disks are probably annoying to accidently buy. >.>

For a second I couldn't tell if you bought it in Mexico or if that was part of the game's name.

    How confusing of you!

I am mad as well! I purchased Soul Calibur III, my first game purchase since November, and it is unsatisfying and kind of irritating!

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey wasn't my most recent game purchase, but I only got around to playing it a little while ago and it sucked horribly. I'm still pissed off about it since I was a huge fan of the original TLJ and had been waiting for its sequel for years.
