NASA Space Educators' Comics - Remix Project

edited May 2008 in Comics
Stef randomly sent me a link to NASA's Space Educator's Comics website. The comics are surreal in their overt simplicity and stupid dialogue, but I love the generic artwork! Then I came up with a remix. I urge you all to do the same.

    And then some more!

Man, where is quality control on these old ones?

    Yes!

    Wahaha. Here's a follow-up.

    Nice! I've got a co-conspirator!

Apparently I've got it in for Dr. Colhany.

It took me awhile to find a suitable font for the Apollo comics:

I think, but I might be wrong, but an over-abundance of oxygen can prevent a reaction occurring.

I'm pretty sure oxygen is a nice combustible element. Fire sure as hell seems to like it.

    Mark really hates grammatical slip-ups.

Yes, but don't forget the adage "Too much of a good thing is a bad thing"

Those are all quite hysterical, I'll have to get in on the remixing after I'm done with finals.

    That's not how combustion works!

That was only mildly amusing the first time.

    Obvious 5-minute entry:

Wow...that is so bad looking and poorly constructed. Also, I don't understand why they used the emboss filter. Using the palette knife filter would have looked much softer in contrast with the skullfaces. You think they would have added more color like red and burnt sierra to simulate the urgency of the situation.

And to think someone from NASA uploaded that to their web site.

Stef requested another comic about NASA's experiments in dishwashing.

And then I decided that another comic should be made.

*GASP!* I've never seen Mario use the word Fuck before, no matter how thinly veiled it was in the comic...
  • edited June 2007
I use it sparingly, in only the most appropriate of situations. Mark, on the other hand, is a profane SOB.

EDIT: (and by these comics, I am of course referring to NASA's comics)
    (Great remix project so far!)
