Don't worry though, they'll send you a kit with everything you need and some handy instructions.

Drew, you truly are a king of kings.

I don't know what I like more, the bearded pickle or the bepimpled teen!
  • edited March 2006
    Say fuzzy pickles!
  • edited March 2006
    I'd sooner die!

Also, that bepimpled teen is a composite image of all the brew-ers. I made it with science! Creepy, huh?

Wait a gosh-durned cotton-pickin' minute! Which Brew-type-person has the buckteeth?!?
  • edited March 2006
    Oh, that'd be me...
and drew, I thought we told you not to reveal the details of the hazing!! Now everyone knows about the bearded pickle!!! There shall be repercussions for this brash disregard for our traditions!!

Drew! I cannot wait for your California arrival. We're totally gonna teach you how to surf and "hang loose". Tubular, bro.
  • edited March 2006
Hopefully I shan't perish crossing the cursed earth in between the megacities. Seriously, that place is dangerous!

Hangin' loose is what goin' to California is all about, at least in my imagination. I've never been off the east coast, this is exciting! I'm leaving tomorrow, but I'm headed south first. I'd expect me in a week and a half or so? I have Mario's telephone number! I'll be staying with an uncle in San Francisco.
  • edited March 2006
What, you are too good for the east coast? Next, you will be too good for the west coast. Where will you go then? Alaska? Colorado? Wisconsin?
  • edited March 2006
I'm actually from North Dakota, which, as everyone knows, is the anti-California.

But I still want my picture to feature those awesome sunglasses! Or maybe a cowboy/straw, farmer's hat.

Double post of "I have a working computer again, and also, here's me with a cowboy hat and sunglasses"
  • edited March 2006
And another hat under the cowboy hat.
  • edited March 2006
    Yo, Matt.
Could you give me the source image under the shades and hat and hat?
I'd PM you, but I'm not sure if anyone checks those...

(I'm gonna align the shades with the Witch's Brew shades)

    Thanks, eh.

    Rock. Thanks, Mario.

    Almost..... there...... PPPPUUUUUUSSSSHHHHH.....

(we're only 2 panels away from being done with 34.)

Everybody submit your closer ideas to Matt now. Hopefully his first time in a large brew ends well, or else he'll have to go thru initiation again.

Heh, I just noticed that my Jedi name is Jakey.

    Carry on.
  • edited March 2006
Alright, Matt. Prepare for the brew ending. Don't screw up. ^_^

I'm totally joking though. A thing that works for me is to continue drawing as though there would be a next panel, even though there won't be. Try a few to see what works for you.

    You rock.

Ok, I finished last night. Phoenix Wright rules.
  • edited March 2006
    He does!

    OBJECTION!
    ROFS!
  • edited March 2006
Rub it in why dontcha?!? *runs away crying because he can't find any copies of Phoenix Wright*
  • edited March 2006
Lucky for you, Capcom just announced that they're re-releasing Phoenix Wright, due to popular demand.
  • edited March 2006
Hurrah for popular demand! Maybe they'll bring over the sequels!
  • edited March 2006
Doubtful! They kind of painted themselves into a corner by making Phoenix the exclusive star of the show. In the Gaikuean Saiban (or however that's spelled) games, he only appeared in one or two games.

In fact, You played as Mia in the first ones! (apparently Mia also taught Phoenix how to point.)

From what I'd read, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a DS port of Gyakuten Saiban 1 for the GBA. There were two game after that, also for GBA, and I think they were prequels (I played chapter 1 of Gyakuten Saiban 3, and you play as Mia, with Phoenix appearing as a young law student). So I'm still hopeful we get the prequels over here.

And also that some store around here starts carrying the DS game again.
