    Zelda, at least, has been confirmed as appearing. Looks pretty good, too.

    The idea of the ultimate attack has been one I've been wishing for for a long time. Samus' seems to be a particularly awesome one.

    You know, I wonder why they didn't go with that, if I remember right, the head of Sega mentioned some time ago that he'd like to see sonic in smash bros or at least a smash bros style game. i think it'd be a solid character to add to the franchise, especially since they've already popped their third-party-cherry.

    I'd actually rather have Alucard than Simon... though I think that either of them would easily translate into a SSB character.

    I think that Sonic or Mega Man (especially Mega Man), would kind of be jumping the shark. I'm not really sure why I feel that why, but I do.

    I've only ever played as Alucard in Julius mode of DoS, so I don't know if he has abilities aside from a sword, fireballs, and bat mode. If they keep Marth and Roy, I personally think there is enough people with swords, and there aren't as many possible attacks with Alucard (that I know of) compared to Simon.

    Alucard has a good deal of abilities from SotN... mist form, wolf form, summon spirit, the fireballs, the teleport, bat form, and they could even do something with the Shield Rod for a big attack. It's possible, but I think more people know about Simon and what he can do, so he might be a better choice.
