Best Wii quote ever?

Maybe I'm a little masochistic, but I regularly check up on the latest IGN happenings...

That's always been my opinion in the first place.

    I'll have a Wii60 combo by summer's end.

I'll have a WiiS2... I refuse to consider a PS3, and I hate XBoxes for no sensible reason.

I too am in the WiiS2 camp, and I'm as happy as a clam that owns a Wii and a PS2. The clam also has hands with opposable thumbs, so he can actually enjoy the games and be happy about owning them.

I've just got a PS2 (and a NES, and a DS, and a PC, and a GBA) but if I get any of the new crop of consoles it'll be a Wii, as I also refuse to consider a PS3 and I hate Xboxes for very sensible reasons.

    I have a NEwiicube64!

I hooked up my N64 today. Played Mario Kart. Got the second and third place computers to get stuck in Wario Stadium and Bowser's Castle. Good stuff.

Mario Kart 64 is one of my favorite games.

I'll be in the Wii60 group soon, basically because I used to hate the Xbox when I got my Gamecube, but I accepted it in the end since it had the best graphics (My first game for it was Splinter Cell 2. Wow) and am now more open to it (Still an ardent nintendophile though). And I've never had any problems with the 360.

    Also Crackdown.

All I've played on the 360 is Alien Hominid and Worms. I suck at Halo and Oblivion bored me.

I suppose Dead Rising and God of War might be cool, but I haven't picked them up.

I really don't buy games very often, and even rarer will I buy a game for one of my roommate's consoles (The 360 in this case).

Next gen sucks. Your choices are: the system that's too expensive and has no games, the system that's too expensive, has a bunch of cool games, but breaks a lot, and the system that is inexpensive, looks like crap, and has almost no games. I picked the last option, but still.

What did you pick, a Magnavox Odyssey?

Play Gears of War before you say that. I hated Xbox, and usually hate FPS games, but Gears convinced me that the 360 isn't entirely evil. Guns with attached chainsaws = win.

And the best thing is, if you don't have a colour TV handy, the game looks exactly the same on a black-and-white.

See, I just can't get behind the first person shooter thing, attached chainsaw or no. That cuts out like, three quarters of the games on the 360.

Good thing Gears of War is a 3rd person shooter.

Also, it's gonna have GTA4, DMC4, and Bioshock. Not to mention the many awesome games on the Live Arcade.

It's simple. Just wait till they update their production processes and drop the price a bit. Process shrinks lead to cheaper production, lower power consumption, and less heat disipation due to the reduced power. So you could get an Xbox for a lower price that consumes a bit less power and is less prone to overheating.
