Hey! Now ALL the forum icons are Navis! And not just the sticky ones!

EDIT: Also, Creamsicle is old-school cool. Though it's more orange than it used to be, and is therefore hurting my eyes.

    Creamsicle isn't finished, I was just throwing oranges in there.

    Sorry, I didn't want to start a new thread for "Hey! Now ALL the forum icons are Navis!" Especially since it seems only to apply to the Zelda Comic forums.

    Anyway, was Ganondorf threatening Link or the Miscreant? I'm losing track of who wants to kill who.

    Since when have any of the comic-related threads stayed on the topic of the comic? Huh, Mario? When? Never, you say?

    Seriously though, I don't like the way topics tend to veer off-course around here. I'm fine with it in General Discussion, that's just the way that general discussions go, but when I make a thread about a particular comic, I'd appreciate it if things stick to said topic.

    It's one thing when topics gradually branch off, but hlavco started right off with an off-topic post. Not cool, says I!

    Dead wrong.

    Hamelin asked me earlier about my style colors, so I'll say it here: the Zelda Comic style will have non-default colors at some point in the near future. As is, it's difficult to see the 'hot' thread images (yellow Navi), so the forum's going to have a darker background.

    I figured there would be dark greens and yellows involved... in keeping with a Zelda theme. The blue doesn't bother me though, despite the complaints I've heard about it.

    Oh, I'm thinking of moving away from the blue as well. The main site is getting an overhaul soon (in line with the comic's stylistic changes), and the forum will follow suit.

    Okay, kinda thread-resurrection-y, but I just noticed this: Closed threads are Navis, but HOT closed threads are still good ol' envelopes. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case you have any free time, you could maybe make things match up.

    Sorry to pull up such an old thread, but I'm not a big fan of redundant threads clogging up the forums.

    I appreciate using an existing thread. I kind of let this forum style sit on the backburners along with the comic, so I'm hoping I have the chance to expand upon it now that I'm making comics again. In retrospect, it seems pretty weird making the status icons before changing the color templates, but I intend to modify the main comic site's colors and layout, so it didn't make sense to make the forum match a site when the site will soon afterward not match the forum.

    That sentence was long. This one isn't.

    Along that note, it seems that moved topics are still envelopes too. And that probably means that hot moved topics are as well (if such a thing exists). Just thought that oughta be thrown out there too so if you ever have the free time to work on this some more, you know.

    I still do appreciate such things!

    Honestly, I don't know when I'm gonna get the redesigns done. But they're still in the works.
