See the Magnus effect. So it is possible in a sense. But the problem is the round would need to be spherical, and even then its cross sectional area is tiny and air is not dense enough of a fluid. And of course it could only slightly curve over a very long distance, not even close to as short as the length of a room. So…

Hmmmm...I don't really remember where in the series that is or even which season, I just remember really liking the series overall. So I would recommend sticking with it. If there weren't so many other things to watch I'd rewatch it.
