I'll just leave this here.

That is amazing.

You can...live?

The Wii code I'm just gonna leave off. I don't really do the online thing at all on the Wii. SteamID added. Skype also added, though I haven't used that in quite some time.

I can make a shortcut to get files off an Android phone too. The process you described is virtually the same all the way through for an android. View pdf, press menu, press save, plug into computer, open shortcut to view pdf files on phone. He just ends up printing them out on paper anyway so that's all it takes. It's good…

Indeed that's roughly how it works in android. Except you don't need an app for it. You don't do any syncing though. You just plug in the phone and copy the files off. Which is maybe simpler? My dad barely understands what iTunes actually is and given the option he would never use it. If I had things syncing into iTunes…

I'm pretty sure I haven't encouraged such things at all. RE: iPhone. My dad is in middle-of-nowhere South Dakota this week. He has to climb a nearby hill (possibly on the back of a horse) to so much as get cell phone reception there. The idea is that he gets up on the hill, downloads his emails to his phone, goes back to…

It is all fluffy.

I guess I enjoy a physical book when I have something significant. I can't say I've tried an e-reader yet, so I really don't know how it compares. To me, a book doesn't run on batteries and that's very nice. It doesn't go out of date and need upgrading, so that's handy as well. It's bulkier I'd think, especially if you…

I think the theoretical tablet market is pretty much filled by the iPad. Realistically I'd be a bit surprised if any other tablet on the market sold worth a damn, because they are mostly useless. They aren't good enough for any serious writing, they aren't really cut to serve the artist community, they are maybe a bit…

Well, I've decided I hate iPhones now. So much wasted time trying uselessly just to get an email attachment on my dad's iphone onto his laptop. It was pretty easy with an Android phone, basically impossible on an iPhone. EDIT: As a caveat, this needs to happen without the laptop having any sort of network connection.

Is this weird in a GOOD way? Is it worth watching? I tend not to watch movies, so it can almost be assured I haven't seen a given movie, but if an opportunity comes up to watch it I might consider doing so.

Sure. Or I could be talking about a certain OB member who I don't think has posted in a while. I'm not sure if he can actually throw thunderbolts though. I hope he can. That would be awesome.

I'll chalk the lightning thing up to a good old-fashioned smiting from god.

Your own little Mini-Me. I've heard tell that they're height at age 2 is pretty well exactly half of what it will end at. Not a bad way to estimate final height. I also have heard talk of forgetting all about the whole child birthing experience as soon as the kid is born. I don't think that effect is limited to…

Triple posting in the intro thread is not actually a good way to make friends bot.

I was working on Monday helping to put up a poolside cabana thingy at some rich guys house. At one point while I was there a person about handling a couple dogs. One of those dogs came up to me with a ball in its mouth. The dog set the ball right at my feet, sat down in front of me and looked up at me wagging its tail and…

Meh, I gave up.

Ouch. Sorry.

That's why America didn't cry about not getting a new thread the past couple years. A year ago today I believe I was in Japan. Time sure flies.
-
I didn't get a birthday thread the past year or two either.
-
I think my uncle in California might live fairly near Mario. Oh wait. He married that Japanese lady and may not live there anymore.

Things I hate. Hmmm. I'd have to think about this one for a bit.

Ima head off tomorrow to help butcher some chickens. After helping last year, I'm not fully looking forward to it, but the result is ultimately tasty.

I can probably LAN it up with TF2 with my locals.
