If I waited to find a girl who had some interests in common with me I'd be waiting forever. If a girl can't look at a motherboard and know what most of the components on it are, and what they do, then it's not worth my time. But man, if I did find a girl who could hold a discussion of comparison between ich10r and sb750 I…

Sometimes, things just go where they will and everything turns out fine.

...Right. I'm going to stay away from Bruce's comment. I've seen that article. I don't have a girlfriend. I'm not a girl. I haven't played rez and I don't plan to. I don't really have anything to say about it. It runs similar with the other article, but girls and gaming are a frequent topic. All I can say is that I've…

That doesn't mean that a vote against wang can't also be a vote for freedom. I vote against the wang. It would just be awkward for all parties involved. As for the REAL options, we did have the benefit of seeing things that our protagonist wasn't privy to. I'd say from his experience, #3 would be quite appealing. Still,…

Lame, and little substance. No, that's pretty much politics spot on right there. She brought up a number of issues she's handled as governor of Alaska. She also talked a bit about taxes and energy policy a bit (well, more Obama's policies, but whatever), but mostly she was criticising her critics for being unjustly…

It is kinda weird that way isn't it? They don't have to be in the same room or anything, just so you know they are somewhere relatively nearby. It's probably an instinctive kinda thing. We are very vulnerable in our sleep.

Anybody see the Palin's speech just a little bit ago?

I've tried several times to write something here that wasn't a huge rant without success. So I'll say it all in one word. Opera. With that, here is an article. Read the comments. I may add more later.

He shoulda kept the bandage then.

I didn't say this before but I'd like to add that the governor of my state had been fairly high on the list of potential VPs for McCain. I guess we get to keep our governor to ourselves! ...I really need to pay more attention to politics. It's hard to think of anything to say that I could actually back. EDIT: And I can't…

There's a reason polititians have a rather negative stereotype on them.

They are perched under those stalactites almost too perfectly. It'd be a shame not to bash the ceiling real good and rain some pointy-stone-death upon the pointy-hatted gremlins.

That happens to me in EVERY restaurant John. Except I don't order the same thing as the person before me. I just order chicken strips because any proper american eatery seems to have them and I can reasonably expect them to be edible. I am an extremely picky eater.

That sounds like the sort of plan that couldn't possibly fail or have any sort of bad consequences at all. EDIT: Which is to say the best kind of plan.

Considering Blizzard's history, I'm curious to know just how horrid your computer is that you actually think you will need something drastic to run Starcraft 2.

The man makes a point. A day or two to enjoy the beer might be fun and it's not like you're totally bailing on the Japan trip. You'll just sadly have to cut some things out of your schedule for Japan. Things that can certainly be done another year as Andrew put it. It sucks, but if you back out of the beer thing you might…

Sounds like Intel's awesome* graphics at work. *They are not actually awesome.

Despite having a computer that is over 5 years old I'm sure it'll run TF2 just fine if I ever have the desire to play it. I do not understand this concept of lacking PC power for something like TF2. It's not exactly Crysis. Also, TEAL FTW!

Chat persons filled my head with talk of poetry! I blame them for this!

You can't just put your name on it?
-
Gah! Stop changing the articles around! Especially not to different articles that were posted a long time ago!

Names like "Hlavco" and "X'o'Lore" are probably kind of hard on a drunk person's memory. "Steve" and "Matt" are kinda boring names. And nobody probably remembers my last name well enough to recall it while drunk. That might be good or bad depending on how you look at it. It'd probably seem like a pretty amusing name while…

It's just not the same. There's a certain amount joy in the tactile feedback of an actual rotary dial. The cool metal, the rattling gears as you turn it, the forcre required to to turn it as it tries to spin back... Even my example is a bit lacking without actual dials. It's a nice attempt though.

Admit it. You just want an iPhone for stuff like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIZ7qWLAmxQ

It is strange that I should feel like I'm in the minority when I say that I never had braces.

Indeed. The Olympics really aren't a fair situation in that sense. So many countries simply don't have the money (or maybe even the population) to produce many if any really good athletes. Nikpai may have only gotten a bronze, but under the circumstances, that bronze is practially platinum.
-
Maybe TOO hot. That was...strange.

Y'know it used to be that someone would try to take over the forum when the admins left.

Well he hasn't bested me fully. I caught that bit, but the article treats it like she really did that both before and after that part which left me a little confused. It's not very well written. My point still stands. What she did still disgusts me regardless. Thankfully, telling a horrible lie just to get attention and…

That's awesome, but it won't fit in my pocket :(
