25-3, eh? That makes Germany almost as good as the 2007 Texas Rangers. Oh wait, somebody beat me to it.
-
I burned my fingertips in the oven, had to use my off hand to illustrate the problem. Edit: More off-hand practice, here's a no-character-in-particular.

Some site functionality I've been messing around with: You can now filter the art section by adding a query string to the url. Needs a lot of work, for example right now a search for "old" will return images containing "cold" or "gold". But hey, it's a start. Eventually I'll just add a search form to the page itself, but…

Woo! I count this as evidence of Nintendo supporting the "Mario is from Brooklyn, not the Mushroom Kingdom" canon.
-
Lighting experimentation. Started in 2012, abandoned, and picked up again last night. Business as usual.

Yeah, that's the other thing. My updating is so slow these days that if I do a reset I don't know if I'll ever make it back to where I am now. Well, the other option is to put together an ending and then start a new project that may end up being more motivating. I've always liked your art style, so I'm looking forward to…

Aw, that's too bad. Zelda Comic was the comic that got me involved in webcomics in the first place. It was an interesting writeup, though. My comic has the same issues as yours as far as lack of planning, and retrospectively questionable things entering the canon... I'm considering a reset of sorts at some point in the…

Dragonite doing dragon things. Like needlepoint. It's kinda sketchy because I accidentally drew on the wrong layer for awhile and was too demotivated to go back and fix everything.

I read somewhere that the most complicated and expensive part of the Wii was the mechanics they had to use to allow you to stick the Gamecube discs anywhere along the slot and still have them read correctly. Dunno how true that is, but it makes sense considering they dropped Gamecube support for the budget model.

New Super Luigi U is somewhere between a standalone game and an expansion pack. It uses the same engine as New Super Mario Bros U and can actually be downloaded as DLC for it, or you can go to the store and buy Luigi alone on disc, without Mario being required to play it. Nintendo's kinda cautious about this whole DLC…

Dunno. Maybe the adapter translates the inputs into something workable.
-
Well, I didn't know if anyone wanted to be surprised by which tracks were brought back.
-
Possible spoilers?: N64 Rainbow Road is back, but I don't think you can catch air off the big hill anymore. Actually, all of the retro tracks are extensively redone to take advantage of the features of the new game. They play like entirely new tracks. Toad's Turnpike in particular is nearly unrecognizable. The nostalgic…

I just actually played Mario Kart 8. Very good. The designers really took advantage of their newfound graphical powers... aside from just looking good, all the tracks have a ton going on in the background that you don't really get to see when you're paying attention to the race. Combined with the warped landscapes, some of…

The other cool thing about this is that now I can play my Wii DDRs on Wii U since the pads will be able to plug in now. This also opens the door for a triumphant e-reader comeback.
-
Just got Mario Kart 8 (haven't played it yet because the Mets are playing a million extra innings), so I'll probably take Wind Waker HD as my freebie since I never had the original. Also maybe one day they'll patch in support for that Gamecube adapter for the true authentic experience.
-
I don't know. That appears to be what they're using in the E3 invitational Smash Bros U tournament though (wait till the end of the video).
-
At what point in the game does one gain access to the friend safari? Is it another one of those stupid things they do where they don't give you the cool features until you've already beaten the game?
-
I'm currently looking for a buneary or lopunny for my Pokemon X team (I haven't opened a Pokemon Bank account yet so I can't just import one). Anybody got one lying around?
-
Vectorized version of the sparkledog that I made up during Daily Draw February a couple years back. Because I need more recurring characters that aren't copyright violations.

I hate when one place requires special characters, and another place doesn't support special characters.
-
Did you have to blow in it to make it work?
-
Foosball, eh? Our hip and edgy tech company is more of the ping pong type.

Day 28: Well, it took till halfway through March, but hey. Ever since that eevee a few days ago, I've been in the mood to animate more things. This one was extra tricky since I tend not to draw pichus with a mouth in the first place.
-
Day 27: Some scenery. Started too late to get very far on it. It began as generic plants, but gradually incorporated a lot of features from the area where my grandparents live.
-
Day 26: I wasn't totally satisfied with the car, so I added a lopunny. Pokemon makes everything better!
-
Day 25: I had an idea for a joke, but it required a second Luigi and the first one was taking too long so nevermind that.
-
Day 24: I started drawing a '50s Space Age-style diner, but my motivation was sorta dulled when I did an image search and realized that the real things look way cooler than anything I could come up with. 24-hour diners are the best. The fact that my 24th drawing is a diner is a coincidence. Also, I've fallen two drawings…
