Yeah, I was kinda bummed out when the last few seasons were everyone telling Jack "Torturing people is wrong and illegal!" and Jack is all like "But it gets results TORTURE TORTURE TORTURE"
-
I absolutely loved the show in the beginning! Awesome action, fun stories and a cool premise. The last few seasons haven't really been up to snuff though, so I'm glad they're stopping now. I just hope Mary Lynn Rajskub finds a new project soon.

I have been considering doing this again to better my cleaning motivation.

What's the current WoW gold exchange rate?

That makes no sense as an occupation. Norway, on the other hand, is a perfectly logical and profitable venture, and I encourage all interested parties to consider it as their next career move.

*modifies occupation* Anyone else want some of this? HUH?!

*modifies occupation* What now, X'o? WHAT NOW

It's crystal that the NPC isn't breaking character on my behalf. The story looks thin at primetime but I'll have to play on his level if I wanna beat this sim and get my outside connection back. Any case, I've never turned down a brainpick, and whatever unknowns put this server together seem to have gone long to cut me off…

Best cross-thread development ever.

Confusing data streams, but I feel like a walk toward either source would improve the connection. Whichever I goto, distancing from the crystal seems a plus-plus. I figure to reach out to the nondescript until I can better the uplink. He's probably the receptionist NPC in here, but hope he's got the info I need to progress…

I aim to grok the sitch. One sec I was elbow-deep in primetime upload, the next I'm standing in some loading lobby. The goofball avatars and oldspeak from the nondescript make me think it's some gamer server, for certain, but I can't wrap around how I'm jacked when my ports aren't hummin'. Some security software kick me…

IMMEDIATELY. I mean, uh... Friday night? I've got no work this Saturday so I'm cool for stayin' up all kinds of late. We could do video chats too! EDIT: Guess I should have planned this in a more concrete manner. When's a good night for people to chatroom?
-
I've still been hesitant to get drunk alone in general, and I didn't get around to going anywhere for St. Patty's Day. But if it means expressing my love for the forumites, I think I'll manage to do it soon enough. Maybe we should have another forum chatroom for such goings-on!

Main Title! Great ditty. Show premieres April 5th. Calendar: MARKED

Shit, we never finished this round! Step 7!

As far as Internet goes, I've been sullen, wishing Elliott would make comics again. I said "Gasp-a-roo!" the other day. Sigh.
-
Update: Guitar Hero kinda sucks in general. Rock Band is where it is at I got two turntables and a microphone.
-
I think I've found my new ringtone.

Not on mah watch! *spits into nearby spittoon*

I even thought season three got better partway through. Seeing The Others in that way was certainly jarring initially but it's important for later in the story to see why they behave the way they do. And of course, the question of whether they're even a force of evil or clearcut bad guy comes into play.
-
I'll admit, season three was a low point in the show's run initially, but it and the rest of the series got a lot better. It's worth investing time in, and I'm really excited to see how it will wrap up this summer.

Skinput: Appropriating the Body as an Input Surface Here's the project page. Also I'm totally going to be reading more from Singularity Hub in the future. I can never get enough of this stuff. (courtesy of @dresdencodak)

A spitting image! You look like a blur of grey, right?

Keep fightin' the good fight! Also: more JT fanfiction.

But any events that precede a Big Bang or follow a Big Crunch are basically happening in independent universes, and have no bearing on the events in our own Universe. A singularity event compresses all matter into zero volume and negates any causality. It's pointless to even discuss probability of repetition in post-Big…

Also time isn't infinite. There is a clear beginning as far as physics are concerned (the Big Bang). Time as a meaningful measurement of causality breaks down when the Universe is condensed into a single point, and is, strictly speaking, an invention of our human brains to explain how the Universe works, not necessarily an…
