That is a lot of success, indeed. Except for the close proximity to Canadians. I hope you bathed after.

Ryan and I taught each other foreign tea customs over webcam. Awesome success.

    It really was.

Wow, John, that is totally awesome. Kudos to being part of the solution.

Guess what? Microsoft didn't do to badly with Paint on Windows 7. In fact, it's a pretty good, usable drawing program now. Micro-SUCCESS!

Anyways, this realization has gotten me all giddy and wanting to do a Brew. Anyone have enough free time in the next week or so to do a quickie?

I'm still trapped in Vista land. I got things that don't work in Windows 7 that do in Vista.

Yes. God Yes. Set it up.

My boss has to send me to the capital tomorrow to do some stuff. This next Monday and Tuesday are holidays, so I asked him for permission and am gonna stay in Quito until friday and then to another city on Saturday to party it up Andes style! The best part? I don't have to pay for the airplane tickets, since my boss was gonna send me anyway! Woohoo!

Business trips for companies with laid back bosses are the best!

Got a ps3 for my birthday, now to get all those awesome games from the last few years that I couldn't play on the Wii.

    Awesome!

Demon's Souls. You'll rip your hair out and have a jolly good time.

I think that in light of recent events we should change this thread's title. Refer to Lauren's avatar if you don't know what I'm talking about.

    I think she still wins.

Valkyria Chronicles and White Knight Chronicles are also supposed to be good, though I haven't played them yet. Record of the Argarest War is coming out sometime in the future, too...

    Heehee

I still need to develop this Lauren shrug idea we talked about. Mario took a picture of a Lauren Shrug attempt the other night over ichat, but I'm not sure if it's up to par yet. I mean, it's super intimidating trying out a Lauren Shrug when you're in the presence of THE creator of the Mario Shrug.

    Work in progress!!

EDIT: Also, I'm not diggin this particular avatar anymore. Isn't February the shortest month? Come onnn, when's it gonna end? I'm already past the bitterness of the breakup, I'm back to bein happy and havin fun :D

I realize that trying to match the sexy shrug is a daunting task, but you gotta have goals! People should see how it came out; maybe they can provide some pointers.

    Lauren's Sexy Shrug, take one!
  • edited February 2010
Perhaps right after a shower was not the best time to attempt a shrug.
  • edited February 2010
That's the best time for a sexy shrug. Wet hair is hot.

I liked it Jeff :D Although maybe a tad bit depressing.

Soooooo, today I walked to class in the SNOW for the first time ever. It was fun! A bunch of people were walking around with umbrellas, but I took the opportunity to walk with the snow flakes falling in my hair and bouncing off my jacket. It's still a very unfamiliar experience, and I like it!

It's funny though. Just 2 days ago it was BEAUTIFUL outside-- the high for the day was 70. Talked to my friend who has always lived in Austin, he said this is SUPER rare to have this much snow falling. It's still not really sticking to the ground, lol. It's a very, VERY cute attempt at real snow though.

Okay, so, sure, a bunch of people from Texas are ridiculous. But I love it here :)

Umbrellas... in snow, seriously. Wow, everyone is Texas should move to Idaho during the winter. It's been -5 to 10 for the past week.
