This is kind of late, but as of this past Tuesday I never have to go through high school again! I walked the stage and everything, no more high school for me!
This is the moment at which you begin your long life of student loans! Congratulations, in four years you can expect to be on average $20,000 to $50,000 dollars in debt, depending on whether you go public or private and how many scholarships and grants you get.
£2,865 Grant in the first year
£1,000 Bursary in the first year
£3,145 Student Loan which goes straight to the university (x3)
£5,000(-ish) Maintenance Loan in the first year
They're right though. The first year in university doesn't actually count towards your degree, and you only need 40% to pass, hence a lot of drinking and shenanigans occurs. A lot.
