Ah, you English majors and your pedantry.

I was gonna comment, but I knew I could stay well back and let you look like a jerk :D
  • edited May 2008
In doing so, you succeeded in looking like a bigger jerk.
  • edited May 2008
But I am not a pedantic jerk!
  • edited May 2008
    But failed in spelling.

Yes I did, but as you can tell...no one cares.
  • edited May 2008
I care, young man! Even though we live in the text language age where it's cool to rewrite words arbitrarily, I will not tolerate it here!
  • edited May 2008
    I care.

Well, get ready to go to college! It's just like high school!
  • edited June 2008
This is the moment at which you begin your long life of student loans! Congratulations, in four years you can expect to be on average $20,000 to $50,000 dollars in debt, depending on whether you go public or private and how many scholarships and grants you get.

£1,000 Bursary in the first year

College isn't just like high school. Social cliques are basically gone now, so I'd still chalk it up to a SUCCESS!
  • edited June 2008
High school is meant to be endured. College is fun.
Can't remember who told me that...

They're right though. The first year in university doesn't actually count towards your degree, and you only need 40% to pass, hence a lot of drinking and shenanigans occurs. A lot.
