My life is awesome

edited March 2008 in General
My hot Chinese girlfriend went to the computer store yesterday. She got some more RAM installed, and she got Windows installed on her Macbook. This is all so she can install World of Warcraft on her computer, so she can play with me (no Chinese Mac version of WoW exists).

It is also worth mentioning that playing WoW was entirely her idea. I don't play WoW, but I sure as hell am going to start.

She is looking forward to staying up all night at my apartment so we can play video games together.

I propose that my life is awesome.

What do you all think? Do any of you also have awesome lives, or awesome parts of your lives that you would like to share?

It's obviously a trick! She's just testing your ability to commit.

    You lucky bastard.

Edit: Are you playing Horde or Alliance?
  • edited March 2008
Do her twice as hard for me!

We're going to play Alliance. I am going to play on Chinese servers, I've decided. One, because US servers may experience crappy lag, which I've already experienced trying to play Hellgate here. Two, I've got some buddies from the office I'm going to start playing with. So if anyone is on the 守护之剑 server, let me know.

Agentcel, Asian girls are tiny and petite, you can't do that to them. But fortunately, tiny and petite are two perfect adjectives to describe me too, so it's okay. Just be careful yourself.

With those last three sentences, this thread has taken a wild and unexpected turn. Let's get it back on track.

My life is awesome because I just found out two of my favorite bands will be playing a show nearby at the end of the month. And I have an apple!
  • edited March 2008
Ohh. I wish I had an apple...

And I wish I had a hot nerd girlfriend!

    Trade you....?

I'm unemployed for the spring season, I've got no future, no significant other, no ambitions, and an Xbox 360. I envy no man.

Go singleness, but my singleness is related to too much work and school. But I am patient, the ladies will flock to me once school is over.

And yes, I know that this is not the You Tube thread.

My life went okay. I passed two V. important politics exams and I got an amendment passed on a MUN resolution which was then voted in. Quite good, overall...

My life is awesome because I got a job as a video editor for the admissions office of my college. Its like being back in the film club at my high school but I get paid!

My life could very quickly turn super awesome or super shitty. I'm still waiting on responses from grad schools.. and so far I've received two negatives. There are four responses remaining. We'll see what happens...

My life was shyte until one day i woke up and said to myself.

    "Man, this life sucks..."

"yes... but... What if it didn't?"

ever since then, everything's gone magically perfect.

My life will suck until I get my Frabication Method figured out.

Lies. Everyone experiences this with Crashgate. I play on Trollbane, and the only problems I have happen when someone trips on a cord at Blizzard.

PS: If anyone plays on Trollbane, I'm Caledonia or Heshtank. Usually the former.

Actually, when I was playing back in the US, I had few problems with it. I was under the impression this was quite unique. Occasionally Andrew and I would glitch through a wall and end up back at the beginning of a map, but I never had too many issues with lag. When I hit something, it would die.

I played on Shulgoth, I didn't know there were other servers. I've never seen them listed.

Well... despite the increasingly poor state of the world at this moment, I would say that my life is pretty comfortable, if somewhat directionless.

    PS. Alliance is for suckers!

My life's awesome! I started spring break last friday and today my uncle's taking me out to the apple store to buy me a laptop as a christmas/graduation/birthday present!

To add to the awesomeness, I'm actually traveling out of town to visit my boyfriend in college, which I've never done before (for more than a few hours at a time, this time I'm staying for at least the rest of the week). I'm gonna be staying at his aunt and uncle's house, they're both really nice, and then on Friday we're going to drive to Dallas because he starts HIS spring break, and so it'll be 2 weeks of seeing each other instead of just one! joyous occasion!

And plus brawl came out yesterday! Woohoo!

My life is awesome, mostly because of brawl.

My life isn't awesome, mostly because of lack of brawl

My life is awesome because Geoff has Brawl.

I found a video game store near me that can mod my Wii for about $40. Then I can buy bootleg Wii games for about 70 cents a pop. I'm not entirely sure if this makes my life awesome or not, because I haven't decided whether or not I'll do it. But if I do, 70 cent games are awesome.

    It could be a trap!

Or not, piracy is awesome. I'm doin some right now!

My life is awesome because I broke a borrowed violin today!

Be careful, though. They do the same over here, but some of the newer games won't work on this modded Wiis. Or so I've been told, so ask around before piratizing up.

Piracy is awesome! Again! I have reached new lows in it!

Today I bought Simpsons seasons 1-18 (not a typo), Rome seasons 1-2, and Detective Conan seasons 1-2.

    135 yuan, or $19 dollars.
  • edited March 2008
I hear you can buy entire pirated novels on the street over there.
  • edited March 2008
This would all be very awesome indeed, if it weren't so illegal. :p
