I'm sorry but what are you going on about ilithid?

A new movie. The Mummy III. Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Asian mummies. Dragons. Yetis. Brendan Fraser.

My god, every word after Dragon Emperor just further shows how incredibly awesome that movie must be! I have to see it.

You forgot to mention that Jet Li's in it!

WTF WHY HAVEN'T I SEEN THIS YET?!?!
  • edited July 2008
I thought Jet Li retired from movies.

I thought so too. Then he was in like fifty more movies. Wikipedia says that Fearless was simply his last Wushu film.

He retired from Martial Arts epics. That is, until he did Forbidden Kingdom. Jet Li said he was going to. He's never going to.

It's in his BLOOD!! (Edit: this is referring to Jet Li!)

Back on topic, I remember when I went to Australia with People to People I sat next to the same girl on both flights to and from-- she was also very pretty, but maybe not so smart? I dunno. The whole way TO australia she was talking to me about her boyfriend and how much she loved him and how she was going to miss him so much, and on the way back she was telling me how she was sad, because she'd have to tell him that she cheated on him with another guy on our trip, that she'd have to figure out whether she would still stay with this new guy, how her mom would react since I guess they (her and the orignal boyfriend) had been going out for a long time, and so on and so on...

I mean it was 3 weeks! Golly. And I didn't know anyone when I went, but same thing, I knew most everyone by the end of the trip. I'm glad you got to experience it! It's a bitch to pay for (at least it was to me), but it really is a really nice trip.

NOW, near the end of high school, you need to do what I did and take the cheap tour of another country/countries. That was a really fun contrast. While People to People mostly pampers you in nice hotels and wonderful food, it was great to have my teacher tell us to steal bread rolls so we could have them for lunch later with the peanut butter we had brought, and staying in hostels with really creepy men who breathe heavily in the bunk directly over yours.

Fuuuuun tiiiimmes. Great prep for college though- if you can get used to staying in hostels, college dorms'll be a breeze, haha.

Just so you all know, I'm on a road trip with my grandma as I type. But we have a laptop and hotels with Wi-Fi, so I will still be lurking on the threads.
