What do you get when you combine musical theater, Neil Patrick Harris, and SCIENCE!?

This. It's pretty well done but only up for this week. Come midnight, July 20th, all the acts will be taken down and you'll need to download them for a fee.

I find these simply brilliant. The fee isn't exorbitant, only $3.99 for the whole set of episodes on iTunes (I picked up the subscription as soon as I heard about this).

Also, his name's Doogie Howser. Who knew little Doogie was such a good singer?

don't mess with the big NPH. Looks pretty cool so far, I'll take a better look when i get home.

    "The hammer is my penis."

I liked it. I didn't think it was that funny, but it's definitely an entertaining story. I'll be there for Act 3!

    God I love this!

Oh goodness, look at my wrist!

I like it, especially the end of act II. I've always sympathized with the evil side on things like this, where the protagonist is evil. I was the guy who voted for Light in Death Note, and was *spoilers, highlight?* disappointed at the end when Light died.

Ya me too, that’s why I liked Artimis Fowl so much, except be got progressively less evil as the books went on. It made me sad.
I would totally date an evil guy.

Man, I wish I could see what Bad Horse actually does, aside from writing catchy singing telegrams.

Bad Horse shows up in the finale. He rocks. The finale rocks. This whole damn series rocks!

Are they making a soundtrack CD? I wish to start belting these songs out inappropriately while driving. That's what musical soundtracks are for, after all.

I have to admit it seemed a bit rushed, and it could've been way better if they had an "Act IV", but I suppose everything has a limited budget...

I liked it, might have to get it for my iPod =D

But Drama is only supposed to have three acts...
  • edited July 2008
I didn't feel it was rushed at all. The first two acts built up splendidly toward the ending scenes. Unless you mean you just wish it were longer. I'd agree, but only because I always want to see more of things that I enjoy, and I enjoyed this immensely. If the special features are interesting enough, I may have to pick up the eventual DVDs.

I think the ending was pretty abrupt. I wasn't expecting the credits to roll when they did and it surprised me. But I absolutely loved the ending, it was a perfect transition to a complete villain. I wish I could get a lab coat like that, the loose ones with buttons in the front don't look nearly as cool.

Pwnage! I’m ordering one right now!

Arrg, It's over, I didn't get to watch act III enough. On the other hand, I did get my freind to watch it (and read Hlavco's comic.:) )
  • edited July 2008
    It's only $4 on iTunes!
  • edited July 2008
Seriously! Stop complaining and go buy it if you liked it! Support things which are awesome!
  • edited July 2008
I got it on my iPod, Yaaaaaaa =D
  • edited July 2008
Um, to be clear I don't own a computer or iPod.

However I have already made plans to buy this eventual DVD.
  • edited July 2008
Then how did you watch it in the first place? And how do you post on the forums?
  • edited July 2008
If I buy the video series on iTunes, and I lose the file for whatever reason, am I able to download it again at no charge? If not, I'll wait for the DVD.

It's called "using your neighbor's IP via internet channel"

Which is also why I can't copy and paste. (I think I complained about that in the introductory thread.)

You're doing all your Internet stuff with a Wii? Damn, that's hardcore.

Nick, I believe Apple does provide re-downloads if you lose the files. And you could always burn data copies to disc or dupe to external hard drive for backup purposes if you're concerned. Data backups and re-downloading is more than you get with commercials DVDs, for the record. :p

Least you can use a keyboard.
  • edited July 2008
Yeah, but I actually prefer the wii remote now, for better or worse.

I passed this over for a few weeks, it seems... but I discovered it earlier today and now I've already watched it twice.

I love it. This little movie is awesome. I'm going to watch it again.

Yeah, its on Hulu now for those who haven't bought it yet. Get to it!
