My brother got married on the 23rd, so in effect I got a new sister-in-law and a new niece for Christmas. My niece is awesome. She's three years old and calls me "Uncle Peanut."

What about us? Can we call you Uncle Peanut? Or just Peanut? How about Goober?

This day is historically England's name for St. Stephen's Day. Saint Stephen was the first Christian martyr, being stoned to death in Jerusalem around A.D. 34-35. St. Stephen's Day is usually celebrated on December 26, which is a public holiday in some countries or areas in Europe (UK, Germany, Alsace, northern part of Lorraine, Catalonia) and around the world with predominantly Christian populations.
I received my PS3, my own gift to myself, as you all know.
My little brother officially bought me Fallout 3.... but also gave me his Red Ring'd Xbox 360 free of charge, since he bought himself an Elite when it broke in October. I just shipped it today, so in three weeks I'll get a (almost) FREE Xbox 360!!
Also got quite a few books and movies... Dexter, Lord of the Rings Extended Versions, Dr. Horrible, Pulp Fiction, and a shitload of candy.
And money. We poor newlyweds can always use more money.
