    Alliterative August?

    How does that translate visually?

    Azure aardvark and bling bat?
  • edited July 2011
I was thinking aqua anteater and bejewelled bat, but on second glance, that is indeed an aardvark.

I was thinking angry aardvark and bejeweled bat. I think this will be even more fun if we don't say what it's supposed to be.

    Well, awesome idea then!

Damn. I just realized something I hate that I could make an avatar with. Andrew says he hates summer, I really hate winter. Kind of late, but eh.
  • edited July 2011
I really want to see you try to handle 20 degrees.
  • edited July 2011
I miss 20 degrees. Everything is so calm and quiet, you can think, you can breathe... and then when you go inside you can snuggle in a blanket and get warm.

Besides, isn't that landscape in your picture GORGEOUS?
  • edited July 2011
What about negative 20? (Also hates winter.)
  • edited July 2011
Winter is my best friend! Warm fires, ridiculously strong hot chocolate cocktails, and SNOW!!! That being said I am also a big fan of summer. It's those in-between seasons I can't stand!
  • edited July 2011
Wait, twenty degrees isn't an extreme temperature...
  • edited July 2011
20 is close to the coldest it gets by me. I'd consider it uncomfortably cold if I had to stay out for too long. You should try working an overnight shift outside in the dead of winter. It hits the negatives. I even have to put on my coat for that.
  • edited July 2011
Personally, there's nothing better for me than October at about 50 degrees.
  • edited July 2011
I agree. I can withstand cold better than heat, but the cool, fall weather is my favorite. I'm most comfortable between 45 and 65.

    It's those in-between seasons I can't stand!

You are wrong, good sir-or-madam. It is the in-between seasons that are the best! The relief from the previous season that has yet to become the overpowering blast of the season to come, the burst of plant life, the colors, the food, the holidays, the temperate rains... what's not to love?

    Autumn forever, I say!

    AUTUMN FOREVER!!!
  • edited July 2011
Huh. I swear I had this exact conversation with one of my roommates earlier who lived about 5 years in New Jersey. He was saying that 50 degrees is the best kind of temperature, and he absolutely loves when it's cold. He said Texas winters aren't real winters, and told us we should try to deal with negative 20 degree weather.

Gross. I hate being cold. I'm SO glad Greg likes the summer as much as I do... Eric always talked about going to Alaska for a long vacation, and Greg has the same opinion about staying in warm weather.

September is coming, but I am quite happy TWISTIN'
  • edited August 2011
Has this been going on for a year yet? I haven't been keeping up with months very well.

Whatever happened to good ol' laser eyes month or head fins month?
  • edited August 2011
How about Space September? It's a picture of you, but IN SPAAAAAAAAACE
  • edited August 2011
This is an excellent idea. We should do this.

I sense I'll be busting out the animation tools again.
  • edited August 2011
Sounds like a good idea. Now where to find a camera that dosn't require you to read every word in the instruction manual to use.

    Space-tember for the win! BAAAAADIYAAAAA

    EDIT: Space-representin'!
