Indubitably! But this is the sort of thing that a group, the Oulippo, try to do. Play with your words! Try grand shining things with words. I think a book was writ, and a long book, too, that had this limitation.
Now that's not fair. Why, anybody could craft a post without that horrid symbol if that individual didn't talk in our own Anglo-Saxon way of talking. Pshaw.
As do you, good sir, for coming up with such an amazing discussion topic. This will allow many OB patrons an opportunity to gain vocabulary skill. Or, if not, OB inhabitants will show familiarity with synonyms. That's what this is all about. That and avoiding crucial grammar bits. Which hurts my brain. In a good way.
I don't know what to say. I find it painfully difficult to follow this writing law in my posts. I must constantly look at a dictionary to confirm that I am typing my posts without flaw. What fun though, this can push your brain to think hard about things you want to say. How long will this OB group last until that villainous script is finally laid again for all to find?

But what if microsoft word assists with coming up with synonyms? For writing prompts, I occasionally trust MS Word to think of synonyms that I know I couldn't think of. I'm not ridiculously original though I admit, my vocabulary SUCKS. Sorry guys.
EDIT: Just to confirm, I did NOT actually look up anything in MS Word to think up more words for this post.
It's too far into night to think of words that don't do that. I'm probably gonna go nap in a bit, but I'll try to think of a way to add to this discussion tomorrow.

Wait, what? Why do you want to push away that particular symbol? What did it do to you, you charlatan? Why, in my day...
Christ, I'm imagining our posts said out loud by a British man. This is kind of difficult!
Luckily, this is not occurring in British, or that symbol would show up in many additional words.
oh man
That was surprisingly hard.
I think a book writ with a similar limitation is known as “Gadsby.”
:holdit:
That was not in the OP your honor.

And still night rolls on.
Writing a haiku whilst avoiding that symbol is difficult. (I writ this in an hour or so.)
