Just who IS the Miscreant? I think his real name is Bob Lennon, or Scooby-Doo.

    It's Marion Zecca...

We've had about 1000* of these threads over the course of time. We've covered just about every possibility and our consensus was "we'll find out eventually, in the meantime, just enjoy the mystery. Once we find out, we'll never be able to guess again!

*By 1000, I mean two or so.

Its Charles Kennedy, as I pointed out ages ago!

    He's YOUR MOM.

The answer is always YOUR MOM.

Dark Link just a thiry but check this out: http://zeldacomic.net/archives/zc/?pic=196.png if the Miscreant "looks just like" link then he is Dark Link

    if not osama binladin
  • edited July 2006
That's right! He could be Dark Link!
  • edited July 2006
I'm pretty sure Mario poo-pooed the theory that it was Dark Link...but I'm not sure. Especially since light arrows do not harm him as he is not a being of pure darkness.

My theory is that its the purple Link from the four swords. But I think the miscreant may have made an appearance before that game came out.

That darn purple Link, always trying to get in the spotlight. I bet his tunic doesn't even give him any special powers!
  • edited July 2006
I always wondered what it could do. The red tunic made him invincible to heat, blue tunic let him breathe underwater, what did the purple do? Perhaps give him amazingly strong purple energy attacks?

    You mean the Super-Strong-Magicy-Shooty-Shit.
  • edited July 2006
I think mario was making an in-joke that all his custom sprites are based on link, thus all bear a vague resemblance to him.
  • edited July 2006
Maybe it's purple Link, or Shadow Link! Let it be Shadow Link :D

Ahem... maybe it's a suprising fourth-wall-breaking secret, or whatever. This may not be a place to ask, but what does that mean?
  • edited July 2006
Maybe it is, but according to what I've read, he's not pure darkness, so he's not a shadow. Let's just wait and see!

the fourth wall? The fourth wall was from theatres, when there were 3 walls visible, the fourth wall was the invisible barrier between the audience and the performers, and breaking the fourth wall means that a character acknowledges the exsistance of audience.

I believe that the miscreant may be Mario himself, since he stopped showing up in comics around the time The Miscreant showed up. And The Miscreant seems to know a lot about the mechanics of the way Link and other heroes get stronger.

And then there's that Game Genie he always hides behind his back...

I back Ryoga's idea. However, I will not surrender any pancakes of mine.
  • edited July 2006
Yay, Support, but anyways, Pancake request aside, I'm not entirely sure what Purple Link does, just that he was in four swords. With the idea of Purple energy stuff aside, he could possibly move things from afar, Telekenesis of sorts..though that is a bit too extravagant for the likes of Link.

That's true. Mario probably decided to get rid of that weird other one and make himself more powerful.

Or maybe the Miscreant's a girl.

The Miscreant is none other than........Bruce Willis! Mwahahaa.

But Seriously, I like the "purple Link" idea...

Try not to revive dead threads in the future.

Introduce yourself in the introductory thread.

Also, please don't reply to this post.

Because only an idiot would reply to that post.

C'mon Agentcel, anyone can make an honest mistake, especially a newbie. No need to be so mean.
  • edited January 2007
No, I was making a joke because God said specifically not to reply to his post. That's what I was referring to.

I noticed that there was a distinctive clue to the miscreants true identity in Episode 200. The Blue spark said that the miscreant was banished from their order which implies that he was once in their order meaning that the miscreant is someone who was in the sparkly fairy order. Unfortunately only playing the Ocarina of time, Majora's mask and Windwaker I have no idea what this order is whatsoever.

PS: if everyone else already noticed this and only I was the oblivious one please don't mention it.

They are the Seven Sages from the Ocarina of Time.

Saria, Ruto, Impa, Rauru, Naybooru, and Daruena are shown.

    Zelda's...um..."somewhere else".

And don't kill me for probably spelling almost all of their names wrong.
