Yeah, now it is old. Could we stop please and talk like civilized forum-goers that we are?

    Aw...okay.

You rub the rock? Man, I feel stupid now. I wandered around forever trying to figure out how to proceed, and then I didn't have the free time to play RPGs for months. Maybe now I can finally get back to that game.

You think that's bad? It took me forever to figure out how to work the stamps.

But yeah, Trace Memory is a good game. Rather short, though. I'd also recommend your own copy of Mario Kart DS, and a copy of Mega Man ZX.

The absolute hardest was when you had to reflect the top screen on the bottom screen. Took ages to line them up...

And also, if Nintendo DS is a party...shouldn't we be partying in this thread?

    I am so sorry-I couldn't resist-Mia's Objection!

P.S.-I know I've been change my avatars lately-but this one is gonna be here a while ^^

    You spelled 'honor' wrong.

    mmm...good catch. Thanks.

Thanks again for all of these great recommendations.
Another question: are screen protectors necessary, and can you recommend a particular brand?

The WIRED blog was pimping Hori screen protectors, but all I can find out here are Pelican brand (at Best Buy and Wal-Mart).

I don't think you really need a screen protector. Just close the thing.

Hlavco is right. They would be helpful on like GBCs and GBAs, but since this closes, it doesn't really need them.

I think he means for scratch protection from the stylus.

It's a good idea to get one.

You do see the Buy button at the end of the description, right?

Not necessary, and sometimes kind of annoying to apply. Just be nice to your screen.
  • edited September 2006
Get one, it will extend the life of your tuch screen. And if you apply it well, you will never even know it's there, then when it gets all scratchy and you're like, "dammit, my touch screen is starting to look bad", you'll remember "hey, I've got a screen protector, I can peel it off and get another one and my DS will as good as new."

I highly recommend a screen protector. While it is a bitch to get on if you don't have an 18 in Dexterity, it is worth it. If you're skeptical, go check out one of those DS units they have out at Best Buy or Wal Mart to try. While a personal one won't get that bad (hopefully), it's still nice to prevent a DS from getting that bad.

    I wish I had a Dex. score of 18

    not to mention a DS.

Screen protecters are bullshit objects Nintendo uses for extra cash. No offense Nintendo...but really.

I bought my Phat DS last year, but it magically broke. So, I bought my DS Lite on June.

    I own:
    New Super Mario Bros
    Mario Kart DS
    MegaMan ZX
    Mario & Luigi: PiT
    Tetris DS
