OH, Also, Agentcel. You need to find a TV with SNES built into it. Ask Serephel for more details.

Um, I have a SNES. I suppose I could swipe the NES back from my sister, but then, I could possibly borrow her PS2 or Gamecube or N64 as well. But she doesn't have any good games for the PS2.

But then, I keep finding myself playing Diablo in one form or another. I remember playing it on a 486 at some point. I think that game owns my soul.

    Don't forget the Pikachu N64!

Mentioning that is like saying he should get EVERY COLOR Gameboy.

    .....are you saying he shouldn't?

I have a pikachu N64! But the controller is broken, I need to find a new one. A normal N64 controller won't suffice. And !!!!!!!!!, you're lucky I didn't mention the fact that they also ran a taxi firm and brothels. That'd be a BIT too hard to get ahold of.

I finally went out and bought a used PS2 and have been spending the afternoon playing Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time on it. I have finally become one of the great unwashed masses! Yay for me!

Yay! PoP is pretty good. Also it includes the original!

Now, as per the thread topic, go pick up some music games (which is, of course, the best thing about having a popular console-- getting the weird niche games)! If you're on a budget, I suggest Technic Beat or Space Channel 5 SE. Then, Gitaroo-Man, Parappa, Lammy, Rez, Guitar Hero, and whatever music games I can't think of right now!

I played a demo version of Parappa back in the day. Is there any actual game in there anywhere, or is the whole thing just Mavis Beacon Teach Typing, Playstaton Edition? Never understood the appeal of that game.

I'm probably going to try to track down Ico or Disgaea for my second game.

Ico is a great choice, and should be quite cheap too.

ICO makes me weep with joy. I can't wait to buy a PS2 and finally play my copy, as well as my copy of Katamari Damacy.

I'm in pretty much the same boat that DI was, waiting for used prices to dip a little lower with the PS3 finally out in the wild. I never had an insatiable urge for the PS2, but there are enough games I'm reasonably interested in playing that I felt it worth buying used. Now to wait until I actually have money!
