#4: MrCheeze. Not only is it just an edit of a previous entry, it's not even his joke in the comic. This thing is just a testament to theivery any giving it anything higher than last place would be an insult to hlavco, from who MrCheeze stole ideas.
#3: Ryoga. This made no sense, and the comic mechanics are too flawed. Panels have way too much blank space, backgrounds and sprites are resized poorly, text is too small in the 4th panel, and to top it off, it's saved as a JPG. Dithering = the lose in sprite comics. Only thing saving him from last place is an original entry.
#2: hlavco. What can I say? Good joke, but not as good as...
#1: X'o'Lore. Yes, it might be a JPG too, but unlike Ryoga's, you can't tell unless you look really closely at the comic or at the file name. And for a joke about Final Fantasy, it was well executed, because someone like me, who hasn't played any of the games, was able to understand and laugh at the joke. If I may quote hlavco from a few rounds ago, "X'o'Lore's was X'o'Lent!"
I do agree there. I don't really have knowledge on proper sizing and all that. Quick question, If I wanted frames, where would I find some. The only ones I found were crooked. Just a quick question.
Make them yourself with the line or rectangle tool. Or if you want to get tricky, if you know what size your panels are set at, and you know how many pixels wide you want your frames to be, do some math.
Say you have six panels, in a 2X3 panel format. Each panel is 200X200 pixels, and the frame is 4 pixels on all sides. So for width, you have two panels and three frame lines in between. 200+200+4+4+4=412. So the width of your comic should be 412. Now you have your length, three panels and four frame lines. 200+200+200+4+4+4+4=616. This means the dimensions for your comic will be 412X616. So make that size image, and fill it in with whatever color your frames are going to be. Then take your first panel, paste near the top left corner, and then drag it in place where there are four pixels of fill color above and next to the top and left edges. Then keep going, keeping four pixels around the edges of the panels and you should get something nice and uniform.
That sounds a hell of a lot more complicated than I wanted it to.
Well I suppose I should've seen this coming. Well I kinda got an idea, but it needs a picture posted for reference, and I cannot do that from here. Hopefully my internet will be working proper at home.
Well, I actually did this in photoshop, and I remembered the width and length and did that the same for each. Then I just opened em' all and put then together. But I like the line tool Idea, it's just, i'm usually really tedious, and lining up the lines will take as long as the comic making. Either way, thanks for the info.
#12: MrCheeze. you stole from a the same person twice so you are in 12th place
#3: Ryoga.good job but a little blurry at least you are not 12th place
#2: hlavco. I think I'd run from a toaster that can attack a character
#1: X'o'Lore. great job, X'o'lore

Great. ^_^. Just let me see a reference when ya can.
Here we go. If mjc can be a Zero fan than I can be a Vile fan. I have an old modified Vile sprite here. Think you can draw a modified non-sprite Vile based on this sprite? I'd be curious to see what you make of it.

Oh yeah? Zero gets to KILL Vile. When does Vile get to kill Zero? *looks all over the games* Never, that's when!
[X1 doesn't count. Vile didn't kill Zero. Zero self destructed. Key word is self. Down with Vile!]
When does Zero kill Vile? I was under the impression that X did that. Either way, he's a villain. He's supposed to be beaten by the "good guys." I just happen to like his style.
~ Ha! Look at how stupid Vile is! "Look at me, I've got a glowy red eye that screams of incest and puppy-kicking!" What a tool. What's he gonna do? Hop in his Ride Armor because he's too scared to fight me man to wuss? What a *MRPH*
Zero's cool in his own right. He's kinda like a jedi with the beam saber. Vile is clearly like one Mr. Fett. I like both myself.
And I must say, I rather enjoyed the picture.

hlavco
Ryoga
MrCheeze (are we actually counting this though?)
X'o'Lore
There's still time to get those last minute entries in! Still time to win! *cue 80's hard rock music for inspiration to rise to greatness*
Yours was an edit of an already existing enty, meaning you're not fully original. This leads to doubts of wether or not your entry is accepted.
EDIT: I have just finished sending Agentcel my list of judged entries.
1.X 'o' Lore-worth the wait!
2.Hlavco-fairly awesome, but 'Lore's kicked ass.
3.Ryoga-pretty good, but a few flaws.
4.Mr.Cheez-um....er...
Choose your prize, X 'o' Lent!

But Vile is a pretty cool character to play as in Maverick Hunter X.
Nice drawing, Agentcel. *keeps duct-taping Zero's mouth shut*
(to the tone of excuuuse me princess).
And I must say, I rather enjoyed the picture.
