So, there's a rush to 1000 posts, you say?

    Yes. Indeed Fascinating.

You could be cheap. And then you could realize that the moderators pwn us all. The choice is yours.

    ...Double poster....

Now you see. If you were a mod, you could see my amusing delete message. As it stands, I suspect mario will see it first. I hope he doesn't smite me...
  • edited January 2007
I think that earns you a -100 posts smiting.

Actually, I don't. But it would at least give a few people a chance to defeat you.
  • edited January 2007
    Defeat in which manner?
  • edited January 2007
You British aren't too good on subtlety, are you?
  • edited January 2007
    Not one bit.
  • edited January 2007
Don't worry, if Night Lord starts getting too close I can always start deleting his posts on my board. :)
  • edited January 2007
Yes, but who will delete your posts? Who?

    WHO?!!!!!
  • edited January 2007
Damn you. Damn you right to hell! MEOWTH DIDN'T DESERVE IT MAN! HE WAS JUST A KID!
  • edited January 2007
I dunno, but rushing to a certain post count seems like a new variety of "not having a life" I haven't yet heard of, and I'll keep my posting habits unchanged, thank you very much.

(On the other hand, I'm all for new reading material, so that's nice anyhow)
  • edited January 2007
So it's win-win you could say?

But then again, all this extra posting could be straining the OB's servers, and I'm quite worried about repercussions come morning...

There are no new varieties of not having a life for me, anymore.

    So... carrying on...

I'm hoping you're not serious, there. Any server that can't handle 3 spammers, is a server that was built in 1947.
  • edited January 2007
Yeah, the servers can and do take these kinds of things. Inksandwich regularly tolerated several Khans having discussions amongst themselves.

Man, I step out to watch four or five episodes of X-files and look what happens. Where did this start?

I wish I could deny that.

But yeah, it just started like, 30 minutes ago.
EDIT: WHERE, she says. In the Bambi/Godzilla thread. Someone had to get all cocky.
  • edited January 2007
Me subtly commenting on the fact that I had clocked up more posts than anyone else.

From there it escalated a bit...

...Please don't delete my posts :(
  • edited January 2007
...this is why some forums don't show a post count. I thought we were mature about these things over here at the Orange Belt.

Though I almost got into the 'News Posts' competition over on Inksandwich before I realized that news is hard to find and I'm kinda lazy.

I really intend to watch X-files until either Agent Scully gets un-abducted or I run out of coffee tonight rather than perform some cleansing act of moderation, so have a good time. Just remember, spammy double-posts are totally cheap and everyone knows it.
  • edited January 2007
That's why I deleted it. But Khan couldn't see my amusing delete message. :(

Why would you think that? Was it the absence of the Vomit Cafe?

Yeah, I see now that I was momentarily OUTSIDE MY MIND, and should've thought that post through.

Also, I think the Vomit Cafe is here, buried deeply. It... didn't hang around much.
  • edited January 2007
Yeah, but it loses impact if Khan doesn't see it, even if it isn't all that funny.
  • edited January 2007
    Well, then.
That is a wrong that should be corrected!
Let's make a thread be resurrected!

    *MAGIC?*

    Khan actually started the thread.

Speaking of really old stuff, I almost resurrected the funny dreams thread today. I dreamt I was playing some sort of Paper Mario MMORPG, and all the other users were from the OB and other forums I go to.
  • edited January 2007
I dreamt I was in a hospital watching some women make out through a hole in the wall, while my friends cheered me on.
  • edited January 2007
Your friends cheered you on.... for being a voyeur? Or for being in a hospital?
  • edited January 2007
I honestly can't remember, you usually forget the specifics of dreams.
