IF I were a computer science teacher, I'd totally use that strings clip in a lecture.
That is, if any of its true. I really don't know. I stopped learning programming when I was in 11th grade, and defeinitely dont remember that much from then.
You guys ever heard of The Eurovision Song Contest? It's a pan-european music contest held each year, and although it was in April, I'm gonna post some entries now. N.b. The contest is fun, thus a lot of entries aren't very serious.
Boot Camp leads to some funny things doesn't it? Either way, Paint actually really is a suprisingly wonderful and simple little program. Many things I've done have actually been done with photoshop and multiple instances of paint running. Photoshop is just not that handy when you need to get down and work with individual pixels.
I can only assume the translator was trying to find a good mandate verb. "Pee" might not be easily read as a mandate. Also, the connotations might be different in a cross-cultural situation. And how else do you tell a very little kid to urinate?
The "Wii" is phonetically the same as "Wee" (lawls) jokes were mostly based on wee-wee also being used to mean you penis. If you say "wee-wee" in the US, most people will know you're probably talking about urination, but I think most people in the US would use "pee-pee" before they'd use "wee-wee". But it's certainly not unheard of.
You guys forced me to watch it, and I'm stumped. 尿(おしっこ,oshikko) is the one they were calling "wee" and that definitely is the word kids and women use. I always used 小便(shouben) "small convenience". But that しーぱっぱ,shiipappa; "piss" is 100% new to me. I can't find it, or anything even remotely similar, anywhere. I think it might be an onomatopoeia. "piss, splash splash"

You are right about it possibly having different connotations in Japan though, look at the spastic controversy over here with Mario Party.
