Naming him after the LHC would be awkward. You could name it Higgs and then get another one and name that one Boson for luck.
Also, anything with the word "small" in it is probably not the best thing to name one's wang.
EDIT: Everytime I think about the LHC I just want to say the word "supercollider" for some reason. Actually I want so say "supercollider" repeatedly. Supercollider.

Well if I call it Large, then I'm setting up high expectations. My Small Hadron Collider may not be as big as its European counterpart, but it can still collide with your Hadrons at 299,792km/sec!
