The cloak in question is the miscreant's, notice how it covers his eyes, and how that might cause him to miss things he'd see with peripheral vision, hence, "Non-visibility".
The fact that it wasn't available in Zelda II doesn't seem to matter, since you take a quite anachronistic leniency with what does and what doesn't occur Zelda II
I concur. I mean, if that happens to be the case that "it's not in Zelda II", well then, Sheik shouldn't be the strip. But alas. And also, if I recall, I don't ever remember having to get Farore's Wind from any of the temples/dungeons. Link could have as well gotten Farore's Wind from the cave where Carl was.
Maybe Ezlo has been on his head the whole time (sleeping), and there's a Minish portal in the floor? We can't see top-down, so we can't tell if there is a crack in the floor. Also, Ezlo never shows up until he talks in the game, so maybe...
Too bad you're wrong! Zelda Comic is a direct sequel to OoT and MM that assumes Link eventually came back to Hyrule. Also it pretends there's only one Link, so that I get to reference games with other Links.
Technically he's still right. It's kinda hard to explain, but basically the comic assumes that Link has already done everything in the existing games. So Zelda Comic is indeed after the entire series, but the most recent adventure was Ocarina of Time / Majora's Mask. There's no hard-set timeline beyond that though, so you can assume the rest of the games happened, uh... simultaneously. Yeah.

Ooh, interesting! Link could be just outside The Miscreant's field of vision for a surprise attack!
If link had escaped from the miscreant's field of vision I don't really beleive it would be for a surprise attack (though considering links intelligence there is a distinct possibility) he probably would be doing just as the miscreant said, running away.
Also unlikely, considering that there is no point whatsoever in retreiving an item like that at this point in time. My bet is that he either suffered brain damage and is slowly walking away OR he is forgeting about his triforce of courage and running away.
But where would Link get all these things? Wasn't it stated in an earlier comic that he gives everything back after each adventure? The only thing I can remember that he obtained was the pogo stick, and it broke.

I just referenced it later in the topic. My theory was the Gnat Hat.
EDIT:Oh yeah, its not in a dungeon either.
