I'll have to look into the possibility of spoiler tags. There is, of course, the aforementioned problem of different forums having different color schemes, so simple text color changes aren't at all sufficient. The obvious solution is to not post spoilers in casual threads, and to mark the thread title (as I did) in threads that contain spoilers, as well as threads expected to have spoilers. And most importantly, if you don't want to read a spoiler about the last Harry Potter book, you shouldn't be reading a thread about the last Harry Potter book. This seems to make sense to me.
Speaking of which, I probably shouldn't be reading this thread too closely. Still haven't read book six.
Harry dies in the end of book six. That's what a lot of people get shocked by, expecting him to go the whole hog as it were. As it stands, Book seven doesn't feature him at all, not even a passing mention, and is really just a long conceited anti-communist rant.
I am aware of who dies in book six, unfortunately. The Internet thought it was funny at the time to spoil it for no good reason. I was all set to read that book, and then I heard the spoiler, and I got all depressed and never got around to reading it. I hate spoilers with a passion.
I'm done reading this thread now, for fear of seeing anything I shouldn't. If you want to discuss the spoiler tag further, you can make a new thread in the Tech Support forum. No spoilers allowed in that thread, by the way.
I finally had a chance to read it last night and this morning. All i can really say is, I hate Hermione. She reminds way too much of an ex-girlfriend; way too close-minded.

Harry steps on a cup of tea in chapter two.
Action scenes were great, and the deus ex machina was beautifully executed.
Enough said.
Now I can't be spoiled.
I'm pretty sure the internet made Dumbledore gay a long time ago.
Being a gay dude doesn't make you any less awesome.
