It may not be the dance that the Khannies employ, but it is still Moskau, and watching the instructor dance is amusing. So watch!

What a find, Doom Shroom! A disco lesson to THE Moskau!

OK. I'd really like to crash the goth ball at Connecticon this year and do disco. Anyone with me?
  • edited February 2006
Sure, if I manage to get to Connecticon this year.

    They have a goth ball?
  • edited February 2006
Yeah. It's a dance, I guess. It's techno. It needs to be overthrown.

Last year it featured a band with Dog-Boy in it. No lie.

I now know that, when I grow up, I'm going to grow a my hair out, learn to dance, and become a mustachioed Russian man. There's nothing else for it.
  • edited February 2006
    Wow. On both counts.

    Death to the goth ball!

Viva la mustachioed Russian men disco dancing!

Whenever I read "Goth Ball" I imagine a miniature head with dyed black hair and pseudo-mimeish makup being knocked across a grassy field with a club.

That sounds like a lot of fun!

Today some people tried to convince me to shake my booty. That would have been the perfect opportunity to blind everyone with the awesomeness of the Moskau dance.
  • edited March 2006
    Was there booty shaking?

I've been working on the leaning-on-one-arm-kicking-legs-alternately-move. I hope to be ready for the rapidly-switching-positions-of-legs-and-arms-while-leaning-move by next week.

I haven't been this excited in months.

Wasn't the goth ball where all those dark-dressed kids were dancing to the music of Final Fantasy X?

Maybe not as funny as Moskau, but still. They apparently existed for more than just the span of that first song.

    sequels are never as good

    Generalizations are always false.
  • edited March 2006
    Yeah. Remember Shrek 2?
  • edited March 2006
C'mon! Don't tell me Mario 3 wasn't totally sweet! Some of the best games are sequels.
  • edited March 2006
Yes, but TEN Land Before Time sequels, with an eleventh in production?

Poor Don Bluth must be cursing the series by now.
  • edited March 2006
Those people were WAY too excited in that video.
  • edited March 2006
    But it's the Moskau dance!

And a really skinny guy in what appear to be maroon leather pants.
  • edited March 2006
    Extra points for the pants.
  • edited March 2006
    Yes. Extra 'fashion crisis' points.
  • edited March 2006
Wow, those kids really got that dance down. But I think we can beat them on presentation (they didn't exactly dance in sync with each other).
