So, I know I haven't been posting here lately. I have nay forgot about you, though. The CYOA thread I started a while ago will continue as well. How? I've been recording almost every possible outcome to it in my handy dandy notebook. When I'm done reading the rest of the new posts, I'll put up a new post in there.
This is a future awesome success: Stratovarius is playing in Quito next month! I'll be going and I'm sure it's gotta be an amazing live experience. After that Iron Maiden concert in March, I decided I must attend the most rock (especially metal) concerts that I possibly can. Unfortunately I missed Angra last month, but it won't happen again and I'll be at Stratovarius for sure!
After getting my girlfriend to create a new battlenet account for me (big brother requires national ID numbers) because Blizzard changed servers over the summer, downloading the Chinese version of wow, patching it, downloading the US version and individually patching it to the Chinese patch (US patch and Chinese patch are not currently equal), backing all of my files up, then swapping out the data folder, renaming certain files, rewriting the realmlist, downloading extra files and hacks, and navigating the Chinese menus in the hacks, I have finally gotten my Chinese copy to play in English on the Chinese servers. YES.
And I did it while being a little drunk. My Long Island Ice Tea is 75% Gin, Rum, Vodka, and Triple Sec, and 25% Coca Cola.
I've never scratched my eye, but I once had a contact somehow tear in half in my own eye. I managed to get one part out, but I spent the next hour doing what can be best described as fingering my eye to try and dig the last piece out.

Here's my success this week in schoolwork!
We as Equals
By Graeme Hart. [NoLonger]
Wish for self…
a selfless cause.
This gives rise to greatest pause.
Do we not all wish for equality?
Do we not all exist as one?
What are we, if not the sum of our parts?
This species that has so many.
We are all people…
as such we expect personality,
yet it is not forced,
for we expect it to show…
Because we as humans are cowardly,
too much so to admit.
We as humans are blind,
And miss completely what we do not hit.
As such, we are pliable.
Manipulated.
Negotiated.
Pulled by our many strings,
and left for others…
as toys.
So we strive to rise…
We as humans are strong.
We as humans are independent.
We are not the sum of our parts,
crooked and imperfect.
We cannot live with each other,
one and other,
fellow hominids as we are.
Yet, despite our crookedness,
Too oblong to link,
Our imperfection,
Too absurd for us to think,
We as humans are the same.
And though we recognize it not,
and we all blink,
lapse,
forget…
We as equals, are human.
We all have the right to think.
Couldn't format it on the forum exactly how I had it... Oh well.
Ah, Facebook. Bringing us the joy of laughing at other people's expense since 2004.
And I did it while being a little drunk. My Long Island Ice Tea is 75% Gin, Rum, Vodka, and Triple Sec, and 25% Coca Cola.
The circumstances weren't as romantic, but the emotion behind it was. So yeah...Vienna and I shall one day wed
