Last night I was drinking at a friend's house and, well, one thing lead to another and we ended the night using up one of those big fire extinguishers. I certainly consider that to be an awesome success.
If there was fire involved, nobody got hurt, and no meaningful damage was done to anything, then I'd certainly call it a success. If there was no actual fire, the level of awesome in the success could vary with how well the extinguisher was used.
There was no real fire, but no one got hurt and no one has to pay for anything. First we just fired it off in the backyard, then we took it out to the street and used it on a moving car that was passing by... That's all I can remember we used it on!
You are seriously one of my favorite people on these forums.
Hmph, fine then. Be that way. *sniff*
I remember a long time ago I was at girl scout camp, and a group of us were sitting around a camp fire when a raccoon peeked out at us from the woods. We coaxed it to the other side of the fire where no one was sitting, and it got closer and closer... and then grabbed a girl's change purse she had left over there and ran off into the woods again. Little bastard.
I love the animals on my campus! They're crazy. You can almost always get a squirrel to walk up to you if you beckon them with an outstretched hand. Once they realize you don't have any food they scurry away, but eh. One time I was sitting outside eating some pasta and reading, and a bird flew up and landed on my table and looked me straight in the eye, and then bit off a piece of my pasta and flew off. I swear, his expression was "I dare you to do something about it." He came back like 15 minutes later to get some more. Wild animals raised on a college campus are so silly. I wish I had had a camera the time I saw the squirrel eating a giant pink pop-tart. Classy.
Ryan, do you smoke cigars very often? I see you as the type of guy classy enough to enjoy them from time to time.

I smoke cigars, but not in any kind of habitual pattern. I'll go for a few weeks where I may smoke one every night after work, and then I may go for months or more without ever thinking about it.
But with the extra box of 24 cigars (one cigar takes me about an hour or more to smoke), plus some of the stronger leftovers from my dad that I need to build up tolerance for, I've got enough to last me a very long time. I may give out a few for work purposes though.
I had to legitimately wait 15 minutes before I could finish a job the other day and then took my 30 minute meal. So I had a 45 minute break. So, I used it to smoke a cigar.
A wild monkey stole my lunch once. True story. I was visiting Costa Rica and a white-faced monkey creeped up, creeped up, looked around, then grabbed and ran. I laughed, even though I didn't get to eat again until our very late dinner.
Just a title change at the moment, but it does come with a tad more authority. The company is basically ready to send me off entirely on my own to do marketing and sales work, so a more authoritative title is helpful for keeping people's attention.
Nolonger, remember to brush your teeth or even run a mouthwash through, lest the teeth at the back get decalcification or cavities. You can get solid food down, like bread, if you tear it into little bits and put it in your soup. Makes you less hungry.
Hello all!! I haven't been checking up on the forums too much cuz I've been on my CHICAGO TRIP with my lovely Eric, and although I'm not quite back at home just yet, I have internet access and I wanted to let you all know that the trip has been fantastic, despite a lack of any OB members along the way. Spent a day or so with my aunt and her family, met up with some family members I haven't seen in over 10 years. Then went to the city itself and stayed in a very nice hotel right downtown, complete with a great view of the city... we did the whole tourist thing and went to a bunch of museums, took a city tour, and ate yummy chicago things that were quite delicious. On Tuesday night Eric took me to this AWESOME fondue place, and after that we went to the top of the Hancock building, and lo and behold-- I now have a shiny, beautiful diamond resting on my left ring finger. The whole trip has been great, and although I'm sorry I didn't get to see any of you like I had been originally looking forward to, I wanted to give the news of the awesome SUCCESS the trip turned out to be anyways.
College starts out next week! I'm moving into my first apartment, and life should be picking up a bit more as soon as I get settled back in Austin. Can't wait Life is pretty sweet right now...
EDIT: Okay so I just talked to my dad and I dunno when the wedding will be, but as of right now I'm engaged!

Also, I get to go to Hong Kong for business again pretty soon. Yay!

Oh, don't be that way. Come on, who's my Laur Boar?
Is it god?
I should get my new business cards in about a week or two.
I've needed some wins lately. This helps.
Now I'm on some relatively strong painkillers for like five days.
This could go here or the hate thread, but I decided to be positive about it. It's done, I'm happy?
Trust me Rob, the moment we make the decision to break into the Latin American market I'm giving you a call.
