I'm drynk tonight! It's almost the end of the semester, and I only have two more "last classes" to go! Tomorro wnad Monday ! /so I want to say that I love you tall. I don't post a lot anymore.... I don't knwo wy. I'm jus ttoo busy, I guess. But i still come here regularly ad raed evertying. And IO still love everyone herre. You al keep being aweose. Yaye!!
Man, I haven't made a drunk post in a long time. I think I just sort of gave up on this thread. I got the impression that I'm the only one that drinks every weekend.
College is different in Ireland, everyone goes out on Tuesday and Thursday nights here and then goes home to their parents for the weekend. That being said, Thursday is the biggest night of the week for drinking here and I'm usually not sober enough to post anywhere but keep in mind that there ARE people who drink on a regular basis, they're called college students!
If more people admitted to drinking more often, I wouldn't feel so hesitant to post in here every time I got drunk. As it is... I don't post here for the same reason I don't post in the insomniac thread anymore. I'd be posting in it way more than anyone else!
I've been cutting back myself. I get hammered in Hong Kong, but I'm trying to not drink as much at home. Plus, getting hard stuff is hard in my part of town, because I hate the local firewater, and imported stuff like vodka or whiskey requires a bike ride. And it's cold out. So, yeah.
Hey, i'm kinda drunk right now. I guess that's good for this thread. You're not the only one who gets drukn on a regular basis, Lauren. Kjeep poisntG! posting. that's better.
Last night I had a pretty good night... in the beginning it was looking like it was going to be horrible though. My roommate had told me we were going to a black light party one of her coworkers was hosting, and I was excited to go! I had never been to a blacklight party before, but I had heard that they were really fun. I got a white tank top and put on some shorts to get ready ((that's right-- I just said I went out in shorts and a tank top-- The weather has been BEAUTIFUL here lately)) and brought a few colors of highlighters to draw on people. My roommate and I even rounded up quite a few friends to go to the party with us since the host said it was going to be really big, and when my roommate called her coworker to let her know we were on our way around 10:30, she said that no one had showed up yet. We were all immediately like, "Wait, really?"
But we still headed over, and we eventually made it to the apartment complex and found the right room. When we went in, sure enough, the place was mostly empty; there were a few people there, but as we were introduced we found out they were all close family members (including both of her parents). Kind of awkward for us; there was only one of us in our party who was 21, and the host's younger sister who was under 21 had an X on her hand so she couldn't drink. We ignored this mark of inferiority, however, and went to one of the back rooms to play some beer pong.
After 2 games of beer pong while drawing random pictures on each other's arms, we decided we all wanted a cigarette. We went outside and all agreed that the party was really lame, and we figured we could have more fun at our house. More people were showing up anyway, so it wouldn't be a big deal if we left. Some more of OUR friends had just arrived to the party, so before they went inside we told them to go to our place instead, and I gotta say... we had a much better time.
I'm just impressed we had a spur of the moment party and pulled it off. Nothing too huge, but it was a fun gathering of friends. Thankfully we had more than enough alcohol stocked up to go around. I used to think that that's all you needed to have a good time at a party, but the blacklight party certainly proved me wrong :-/ I guess a mix of video games will make that much of a difference.
The party ended up going late, too. People (those who had DDs anyway) started leaving around 3 am, and the rest of us stayed up super late before we fell asleep. Because me and a good friend of mine were up late Friday night drinking, we slept in SUPER LATE (with mild hangovers) on Saturday afternoon and were both wide awake through the late hours of the evening. We ended up not going to bed until 8:30 this morning, and woke up again at 1:00. If this post doesn't make the best of sense and has grammatical errors galore, please excuse me; I'm friggin' tired. Two nights of heavy heavy drinking in a row wears me down.
Went out for Geoff's birthday celemabrations tonight! Only had a few drinks since I've got work earlyish tomorrow, but I do feel the love and thought you should all know. Even though none of us post here as often as the heydays, it's still my favorite place on the Internet.
Did you know that The Orange Belt has been my browser's homepage since we started it? It's a fact! :tmyk:
I really do have some fun plans for sprucing up the place a bit, though most are too far from fruition to really talk about with confidence at this point. Know that I'm thinking about you guys on a regular basis.

One of them did have pretty big boobs though, now that you mention it.

I hope that was a kids in the hall reference, because that's what I'm going to think of it as.
