I have on a rare occasion done so. I do not however consider the Oreo to be a favorite as far as cookies go.

I desire oatmeal. And chocolate chips.

Also, has anyone else successfully twisted an oreo in two? It always breaks for me :(
I did once, and almost didn't eat it because it was so perfect.

Is it really that hard? I've never had a problem doing it.

Usually I just eat them whole anyway though. Tastes better.

I had no idea twisting oreos was that hard. Years of my life wasted on video games have left my fingers with extra dexterity which are perfectly suited for non-sexually related tasks, like twisting oreos.

I don't even twist Oreos, I'm usually too busy putting them into my facehole.

Twisting an oreo is easy. Twisting it so all the cream is perfectly on one side, with no sign of any kind of cream on the other is damn near impossible. I did it once, and it was the happiest day of the my life.

mrh. never liked oreos. Thin Mints on the other hand... ther HEROIN of cookies.

What are you talking about? Like 90% of my Oreos end up with all the frosting on one side.

Yuck, Thin Mints are gross and I don't see why they're so popular.
  • edited May 2008
Thin Mints are popular cause they're freaking awesome.

Thin Mints are second only to those peanut butter things... I think they're called Tagalongs or something. Unfortunately, they charge like eight bucks and you only get fifteen stinkin' cookies. Those Girl Scout scammers...

Reese's Nutrageous is the best peanut butter based chocolate.

Are Thin Mints another name for After Eights (basically thin minty stuff covered in chocolate)? 'Cause After Eights are awesome.
  • edited May 2008
After Eight is a type of Thin Mint, yes. Just usually they aren't dark chocolate, but I'm pretty sure no one can figure the difference between dark chocolate and normal chocolate anyway. (If you can, CUT BACK ON THE CHOCOLATE!)

    One is... darker?
  • godgod
    edited May 2008
It's not that subtle of a difference. If it sucks every bit of moisture from your mouth, it's dark.

My grandma makes these awesome spice cookies made with molasses and rum. They are so freaking delicious.

Mint in all it's forms is gross and I want nothing to do with it. Dark chocolate is also gross and I want nothing to do with it. No I do not eat a lot of chocolate, but yes I can tell a HUGE difference between dark and not dark. I do like those peanut butter cookies.

I'd need proof, because, yeah, most of the cream comes off, by there's always some minute portion that ruins how anal I am about twisting Oreos. Either your extremely lucky, or I'm doing it wrong.

    Or both!

All this talk of Oreos made me remember that we had some in the pantry, so after snacking on some I found the ULTIMATE (or otherwise deformed) OREO!!!

Aren't you guys just so jealous for my 3 part oreo? It's a good thing I eat them whole, cuz this one would be a bitch to twist cleanly. :D

Big deal. I made an oreo with 10 layers of cream.

    Big deal.

    That is all.

why are wires coming from your ear? are you a robot? or only your ears?
  • edited May 2008
It actually came from the package this way?
  • edited May 2008
I once found a Hydrox (generic Oreo) with 2 creams and 1 cookie, and it had a fingernail in it.
  • edited May 2008
    You got the prize! Lucky.
  • edited May 2008
    Did you keep it?

Big deal. I made an oreo with 10 layers of cream.

But I didn't make that, it was already like that when I took it out of the package!

And although being a robot would be awesome, it would not be worth it because I would not be able to eat delicious Oreo cookies after reading about them on internet forums. I'm just your normal everyday human :(

that's robo-ism. robots that are programmed to enjoy oreos can indeed enjoy oreos. i maintain the "mish is a robot" argument.
