Better yet, make your own terrible comic made just to appeal to you.

Maybe I will! Except for the terrible part! And the just appeal to me part! Cause that would suck! Word up!

That's because Zelda Comic has something that no other comic in the history of forever has had. And as soon as I figure out what that something is, I'll let you know.

    It has MARIO!!!

    Really sweet photoshop lighting effects.

Since Mario is abandoning us for "the need to eat", and this thread no longer serves a purpose, I thought I'd take it upon myself to transmogrify it into "Questions Davey Has For The General Sprite Comic Making Public".

    My Main Question:

Can I use Fireworks instead of Photoshop?

I expect to have more questions when I actually start.

I refuse to look up what "Fireworks" is due to my insatiable need for silly/stupid jokes.

Sooooo, by "Fireworks" I assume you mean, "Can I get the same fancy lighting effects by printing the comic, stuffing it into a firework, setting it off, and then scanning the comic whilst it burns in multicolored glory?"

That is exactly what I pictured in my mind as well.

Fireworks is a legitimate product. I don't have it and never used it so I can say nothing for it, but it's more up to the individual as to what program to use. Nothing says you HAVE to use photoshop.

Couldn't you just make a new thread titled "Questions Davey Has For The General Sprite Comic Making Public", or maybe "Questions for the General Sprite Making Public" so that the rest of us can ask questions too if the need arises.

That would be the greatest scanner ever. Also, I would read that comic.

Why would you want the fudge to leave? It's got chocolaty deliciousness!

Sure, I'll think of a few questions, then do that.

Yeah, I haven't used it all that much but Fireworks is actually pretty good.

It's a nicer way of saying you're damn stupid.

I'm not entirely sure it's nicer at all.

Well, I whipped together a little comic, and I want your guys-es critiquing.

Everything was done by me, including ripping the sprite.

So go ahead! Tear me to shreds with your words! Tell me what's wrong with it (besides the lack of a background, the lack of funniness, and the fact that my last name means "leftovers")! Do your worst!

It's bad, and I can tell! Tell me what I can do to improve it! Please!

The first thing you should do is make a dedicated thread for these questions. Probably in the "Conservatory" section of the OB.

Alright, it's done, and I didn't even bother to change the wording! Heck yeah!

Now dismember me with your typing! On the new thread! Word up!
