Mikau! I thought of it as soon as I saw you again, but was beaten to the punch. Welcome Back!
Thank you! Sorry I wont be as ubiquitous a fixture as before, but all the typical excuses about school and girlfriends apply.

Hmmm... I seem to have missed introducing myself. Formerly geoko on IS... i think... and in the old orange belt too... i think... (although, now i have shiny moderator status! woohoo! Check out that bold type, forum BLING!) and here's a picture of everyone!!! well, most of the brew crew anyways, for those of you who have not seen it, Paul, Mario, Conor, Kyle, me. Interestingly enough, none of us dressed up that Halloween. Paul actually is a ninja out to take down the corporate world, Mario always dreses as comic characters (you should see him in green tights!!), Conor always looks like a drunk Irish kid, Kyle is a European tourist, and I am a demon overlord. Yes, this is THAT halloween night for you brew readers, by the way. Note the awesomeness of the mini fridge next to the couch at my old place. (the hand in the back is reaching for it.) Now that's class.

By the by, you may notice that I have canged my avatar. I'm going on a box strike. I'll be hiding in this box until the new Smash Brothers is released in the US. Your moral and monetary support will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Boxes aren't waterproof, you may want to watch out for that!
  • edited June 2006
a plastic box with a lid sealed with chaulk would be waterproof.
  • edited June 2006
I think caulk would work better than something that doesn't exist.
  • edited June 2006
There is also chalk but I don't see how that would protect against water.
  • edited June 2006
    Also, duct tape.

I spelt it wrong, we just call it sealant here.

Hi I'm new too, and I'm addicted to Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends
  • edited June 2006
Maybe some sort of epoxy would work in a pinch.
  • edited June 2006
Welcome. Although it's nice to have you here, this isn't a support group. You'll have to kick the Foster's habit on your own.

    Okey dokey

Hello there people, I'm new also and extremely happy to be here!!!!!

Is what I would say if I was that...optimistic of a person. Don't get me wrong, i'm optimistic but not THAT optimistic. Anyways, i'm getting off topic. I'll list a few basic things I s'pose.

I enjoy reading and writing from time to time and playing games and watching anime and manga. Uh....I'm on the computer somewhat often and I play Baseball and Tennis. I'm what one would call a Youngster, meaning i'm only 15, and I like to take part in mind numbing activities such as talking about interesting things (Philosophy, games, anime, stuff that is interesting...as said before) And as far as other stuff goes...uh....I like....Face?

    You sayin' I'm fat?
  • edited July 2006
I believe the implication is that your skinny, if you need belt loops, you need a belt, and you only need a belt if your pants are too big for you. You should be saying thank you, not reacting defensively.

Am I wrong? Am I wrong?
  • edited July 2006
No, no. But I wasn't over! Mark it 8, dude!
  • edited July 2006
I don't know. They sell pretty big pants at the Big and Tall shop. You can be mighty fat and still wear loose fitting pants.

But just imagine the might! Mwahaha!

(psst.. you're right, this is much better than laundering them through the church, no "tax evasion" scandals!! ahem.. I mean, um nevermind.. )

    HI STEF!

    And...um...hi everybody else!

Yeah, so I finally got around to signing up. For the benefit of those who aren't Stef (or Mario) - I'm an old college friend, and I've been amused by 6:35 since it was an occasional feature in Penn State's student paper. Trapezoid Girl is teh win, and Barbie is right. Math IS hard! And differential equations was the highest math course I took, too!

Welcome, yet another person who's older than me. Can't we get anyone under 15 or 16? possibly? Naw, Just kidding, anyways, have a pleasant stay.
  • edited July 2006
Maybe if we can get Chuck Norris to roundhouse kick my driver's license, it will travel back in time and make me younger. But then I won't be able to buy beer any more, and then I will be sad.
  • edited July 2006
    I'm 14 if that helps.

Same here, so don't feel bad.

OMG! I am so happy you signed up, Rydain! Because I need to tell you that we are about to get two more cats!

Um, gentlemen forumgoers, you know it's sort of weird and rude to gripe about a person's age, right? Rydain and I are the same age, and I didn't gawk at your freakish youth when you all joined the forums.

I was just kidding. oddly enough in my school i'm too old for my grade. My mom started me late. So i'm a year or more ahead of my class mates. but misunderstanings happen so sorry if i put it wrong. I'm not really big on the LOL's and ROFL's so it's hard to tell whether i'm joking or being sarcastic without smiley.

    Either way, Welcome.

Glad you joined the forums, Rydain! I second the mention of us getting two more cats.
