"Who's who" is actually grammatically correct. Here's one of the e-mails I received on the subject:

... Bleh. If you wanna get THAT techincal about it. Can't we all just enjoy the joke?

no. it needs to be grammatically correct.
  • edited May 2006
I enjoyed the joke so it doesn't matter much to me.
  • edited May 2006
I think all of this nitpicking is proof of how much we enjoyed the joke.
  • edited May 2006
    Probably. :D

Actually, with all the drama that went on in the forums after this comic was released, I forgot what the joke was and had to go back and read the comic a second time.

Also, not to nag or anything, but this is quite worrying...

Funny, it kind of comes off as nagging. Regardless, I fixed the problem.

Yay! A single news post! My faith is restored :)

Mario, I'm going to type you a song.

" Updating... is such a wonderful thing...
Updating... it makes my heart go TING!
It fills the world with so much joy...
it gives pleasure to every girl and boy...
    updating...
    updating...
    It fills the wooooooorrrllld...
    wiiiiiiiiiiithhhhhh Jooooooooooooy!"

So please Mario, will you update? You know, before I drop dead waiting for you? If you don't update before July, I'll never spell your name with a capital M again. And, every time I post, I'll end with "It's a me a, the never-updating mario!".

PS: yes, I made that song up on the spot. I came up with the words as I went.:D

More nagging? This grows old. I've been to many comics that'll go 2-3 months without an update. Some comics have their servers go down sometimes for weeks at a time. Don't bust a nut over it. When they update, they update and no sooner. Just be glad the comic doesn't just spontaneously disappear without a trace or even any sort of warning. I've had a couple comics go belly up out of nowhere on me.

Christ. If I were Mario, I'd quit making comics entirely just to spite annoying bastards like you. Good thing I'm not, I guess.
  • edited May 2006
    I'd just ban this retard.
  • edited May 2006
I'm often surprised by how tolerant Mario is. I'd be abusing my awsome mod. powers left and right.

We're lucky. Look at the comic Slackers. It last updated on Christmas day. That is 5 months without updating. One month is a small price really.

Yeah... I've seen that. I go to check a comic and instead of the comic, I get a picture of the author's sprite flipping us the bird. :(

mario will update when he has time. Leave him the hell alone. You're only annoying him, not motivating him.

    sure.

Spyro, should I get another countdown? :D

    No.

If you look at Mario's user name, it's spelled without the capital. So whether you capitalize or not, it's still correct in some way or another. Therefore, you have no suitable case for bribing Mario to make a comic.

Besides, we've seen much longer gaps than this. You, my friend, lack patience. You have an entire INTERNET sprawled out in front of you, there's plenty left to do, I'm sure.

If you're bored, may I suggest Wikipedia, which keeps me amused for hours at a time.

    This kills time:

There, now we'll never see Spyro again.

You're wrong! I have no intrest in this game anymore! And, I already hold the record of 7 days, 12 hours, and 47 minutes! It's easy, because you just need to put something heavy on the mouse and leave it alone! I'm done with that! I lost interest in hold the button when I set the high score in January!

Wow, we should celebrate with a pizza party. Or, since you used something heavy on the mouse it has to be a cheat-za party. (Holding in massive flood of laughter) Go try it again, best your old score, and for the love of honesty, do it right without cheating. Most importantly, don't come back until you do.
  • edited June 2006
He's lying anyway, because the highest score says six days. Therefore he didn't set a high score of seven days.

It wasn't funny then, and it won't be funny now.
  • edited June 2006
Its easier with an apple mouse, since you can just sellotape the top shell of it down.
  • edited June 2006
    Spyro is no fun :-(
  • edited June 2006
really, I typed that to make you shut up. And if I'm no fun, then why do I have so many friends?:p
  • edited June 2006
...These friends, you're not referring to the people on this forum are you?
  • edited June 2006
    HELL, NO!!
and, uh, I said it was in January, for the hold the button thing.
It says all the records for the last 7 days, not 5 months.
