Two new comics tonight! Here and here.

Don't worry about the advertisements. They're just there because I ran out of bandwidth or something. Before this month it had never gotten past 100mb. I guess I should post these comics on less forums.

He did have a really big cell phone in that one episode. I think it was the one where he was hired by that really superstitous guy.

Both excellent. I liked the first one the best. Pokemon don't seem built for comfort in this world.

I enjoyed the second one more, as that cell phone move would certainly be deadly. But they were both quite good. Keep up the good work!

    Yes. Yes it is.

....anyway, I haven't made a comic in a while. Instead of making one now, I'm gonna show you some doodles I drew in school. I'm too poor for a scanner, so I just took a picture (lighting is hard...). They're not my best stuff, they're just lucky enough to all be on the same paper. It takes forever to load, but here goes.

My god, those tanks are going to attack that Pichu!
  • edited May 2006
...I think he can take them out.
  • edited May 2006
The tanks are actually attacking each other, but I guess the flag on the back of the left one can be mistaken for a turret. It's the ongoing battle between the tanks with stars on the sides and the tanks with the skulls/crossbones on the sides. Who will win? Whoever doesn't run out of tanks, I guess.

That's the type of picture that really should be a .jpg, not a .png.

This comic was made on my grandma's computer, therefore I had to redraw the characters from scratch, therefore they look kinda ungood. Well, Eevee came out all right, but Pichu looks... not so great.

    pichu looks okay

but what did evee say? it looked like somthing about kool-aid, lemonaid, or a band-aid
  • edited June 2006
"I was just trying to open...........aid"

CELL PHONE OF +4 RADIATION POISONING

What Eevee said is irrelevant to the joke and therefore blocked out. Plus I couldn't think of a good situation that went with Eevee's personality, but since Eevee is the easiest to draw and I was making the comic fast, I wanted to use her anyway.

Oh yeah, there's been something I've been thinking about: I'm happy calling Eevee 'Eevee' and Pichu 'Pichu', but I was thinking about giving the Squirtle and Charmander non-species related names. Problem is, I'm the worst there is when it comes to naming things. So does anyone have any bright ideas?

    Jimmy Wonderpants and Frisbee.

    Tim and Jim.

Burnie and Phil. (I guess that'd make Pichu "Sparky")

    supermarket and gertrude

    Duncan Idaho and Thufir Hawat.

I slightly edited the comic! Now it looks a little better, if you can see the difference!

Also, I think you guys might actually be worse at names than I am. No offense or anything. Just... no more rhymes. Please?

Blinky and Splinky (The name of my fish)

hey, super market and gertrude dont ryhme.
  • edited June 2006
Mine didn't rhyme either, but if you just want some random names that don't have some sort of connection the best I could come up with is Larry and Tom. If you want cool names your out of luck from me. I've been in a cool name shortage for quite a while.
  • edited June 2006
Yeah, I really don't want any connection with the names. They're roommates, but not brothers or anything like that.

Pichu and Eevee also share a place. It's completely acceptable in this comic's society to move out of your house at the high school level, apparently.

You don't want my help in character-naming. Most of my Pokémon are given normal-sounding names that start with the same letter as their species.
  • edited June 2006
Normal-sounding is good. I'm not sure I want anything weird, which is why I didn't post this on the overly-anime-influenced Pokemon forum that I cross-posted this comic in. Also I don't like that place much.
