A comic. I made.

    Yay! My question was answered!

The date has been fixed and is now accurate. Comic 21 shouldn't take long, so once I get some free time I'll get it done. After that, I'll probably take a break to do some comic maintenance: Fixing the deformed speech bubbles of olde, smoothing out some punchlines, and altering the Easter Bunny, who I think came out really bad.

So meowth is gone forever? I'm sad :(
  • edited July 2006
You might see him again. His drawing came out pretty good, I think, so I'm not sure if I wanna waste it.

    I like the meowth avatar.

He can be used heavily in flashbacks and/or dream sequences!

Or. the 20th comic could be Eevees dream, and he wakes up with meowth in the shower...

Darn you! Did you even READ comic #8? Eevee's a girl!

I'm finished with comic 21, but I'm not sure if I should post it yet because discussion remains fairly active. What the heck, I'll post it.

The magic of re-using backgrounds and characters made this literally a five-minute comic.

Or meowth in the tiolet! That would be a dream to remember!

And yet the text made it a hilarious five minute comic. Nice one. :D

    Yay verily.

Also, the problem is that at such a small size, the electrical charge of an atom would probably fry you.
  • edited July 2006
    I...never thought of that.

    Crazy Eevee! Ruining everyone's fun!

But electric current is caused by electron flow, and if he's the size of an atom, the electrons, while still tiny (atoms are huge compared to the size of an electron,) would be too big to flow through him.

    ...curses...

How one can be the size of an atom to begin with is beyond me. I mean, what kind of subatomic particles would he be made out of then? Would they work the same as normal atoms? I think it's best not to think scientifically about such things to avoid headsplosions.

It's a shrinking POTION. It just works. The aftereffects [suffocation] are what you have to watch out for.

The trick is to shrink your air supply down with you, like they did in Innerspace.

Or Fantastic Voyage. You know, the book wasn't that great. But, everything Asimov writes isn't going to be a gem.

    I liked Fantastic Voyage...

Well, I finished doing "maintenance" on my first twenty comics. I changed a little bit on almost every one. Mostly it was the speech bubbles from the first ten or so before I discovered the 'rounded rectangle' tool. I also tightened up some of the artwork and changed some lines that didn't seem to come smoothly enough. I even worked Maurice's name into one of the pre-'characters having names' comics. The one comic that I did while away at my grandma's has been improved with proper colors, and since Pichu looked so bad in that one I replaced him with the normal version.

Hopefully now people going through the archives will get a better first impression and as a result, like the comic a bit more.

One problem is, you don't have a proper navigation script, making it very tedious to look at them all, may I recommend Comikaze?
  • edited July 2006
May I recommend not killing yourself and destroying a perfectly good airplane?

Htmlin' is scary, but maybe I'll look into it.

Its PHPin, and it uses an automatic installation script, all you gotta do is CHMOD the folder.

So I downloaded it, installed it, and put all my comics in (geez, that took longer than adding a forum!), and now I'm stuck. Where am I supposed to go to actually see the comics? I think this may be a bit advanced for me. I likes my page'o'links.

Just for the heck of it, here's a picture.
I dunno if the same ads get around to other countries, so I'll just say it's making fun of the Geico gecko and the Aflack duck. The weasel isn't a bad guy (darn weasel stereotyping), he just wants to offer you a great deal.

Based off of the guy in the lower left-hand corner of this picture.

he sounds like a drug dealer.

I'm sorry for not making a new comic in a while, I've been on vacation at my grandma's and will continue to do so until Sunday at least. And you all remember how bad the last comic I made whilst up here was. Plus, I'm really not in my comic groove right now. So instead, here's a picture in which I decided to use a much higher than normal detail level than usual. Well, with the size of my comics, you wouldn't be able to notice that much detail anyway.
