    5H3317 S0N, D47 1Z 73H 5H1Z N1Z!

speaking in internet shorthand is no worse than speaking in ebonics. I hope that deteriorates enough so that no one can understand what anyone else is saying

    General: *uninteligible grunting*

    soldier: L4UNCH DA NUK3Z, W3 PWN TH353 N00BS!

So I got a new host for my website today. It's this place called FriHost, and they have better stuff than Freewebs. The catch is, you have to participate in their forums... Oh well, I can dig it.

The new address, for those who care, is http://www.pennyracers.frih.net.

If only The Orange belt did that. We'd all be smothered in free hosting.

Why would you want to be smothered by anything? Whatever it is, I think breathing is better than it.

Hey! Two new comics! Seems like they've been coming in pairs lately.

That one is a follow-up to the last comic. I kinda liked that Sandshrew guy. Too bad he's getting severely pummeled. Looks like I forgot Pichu's mouth in the second panel. [EDIT: Fixed]

With most of my comics, I try to make it so that the comics could be played out without even using Pokemon, but in this one I thought evolution would be fun to discuss. Look! Eevee is standing up for the first time since comic #1. Also, the many layers and transparencies in the first to panels were a major pain in the neck, and I'd suggest avoiding them.

Next order of business: If anybody has been keeping track, the next comic is #20. I'm gonna pull a fanmail issue, just like #10, except THIS TIME I'm telling you beforehand. So if you have any burning questions for any of the cast members, mail away!

I don't agree with the evolution comic. There is another side to the evolution debate, and the readers of the Orange Belt Forums have a right to hear it. Then they can make their own decisions.

...ahem. All that aside, as I think I've said before, I love your art style. It's very colorful, but it's not distracting at all. You do well at portraying emotion in Pokemon faces.

I didn't get the first comic at first. It took a minute. But, I just rolled out of bed a minute ago, so maybe that accounts for something.

I wasn't sure of how to portray an angry mob running across the screen, so I didn't. I guess that makes it kind of tricky to figure out.
  • edited July 2006
Well, getting pummeled has got to be better than being crammed into a little pokéball thing.

I don't have a question for him, but could you put meowth in the next comic please? PLEASE?!
  • edited July 2006
here's a good one, although maybe its already been answered. Why did you decide to use Pokemon?
  • edited July 2006
That's not really the sort of question to have the cast answer, so I'll do it right now. Um... I like to draw Pokemon and they're cool? I figure, if people can do things with imaginary creatures like unicorns and dragons, why not Pokemon?

    Thats why.

    Oh, right. That too.

I caught the first one right away. It wasn't even one of those jokes that you see oming from too far away either. It was just right. It instantly reminded me of the previous comic and that made me laugh again.

If I need a question to get Meowth in the comic, here it is:
"You have a large coin wedged into your brain, does this impair your cranial ability at all?"
  • edited July 2006
Is the coin biological, or is a cultural accessory to all Meowths at a young age, like lip discs are to those African tribes?

It's a good thing you got that. I was worried some people might forget, because it's been awhile since I updated. (20 days! That's a new record!)

Time flies. It didn't seem that long at all.

For anyone who cares, I put an art section onto my site. It has all the stuff from that "school art" thread from awhile back. The links on that thread were taken off because I needed to save webspace on my old Freewebs host. But now you can see them anytime that you might, for whatever reason, feel like seeing my art.

    Make new comic please :(
  • edited July 2006
I can't make a new comic now! I have to make every second of my 30 day free trial of Photoshop count by doing things like inserting images into other images, changing colors, and filtering things! Blurry, lens flared chrome goodness!

I also have to mow the lawn.

I'm still waiting to see the Misadventures of Bob. That movie looks awesome. :)
  • edited July 2006
He drives around fighting crime in his RV.
  • edited July 2006
And is Bob Shaggy, or is he the Punisher?
  • edited July 2006
Shaggy. I didn't know who the Punisher was when I was making that, it's just what came up when I searched for villain. Then I added cool sunglasses and I was good to go!

    Here's comic #20, and it's really long.

Whoops, wrong date. I'll fix it eventually.

NOOOOOOOOO! MEOWTH! You heartless bastard voters!
  • edited July 2006
Haha, that may just be my favorite episode yet.
  • edited July 2006
It was funny, but I liked the other ones better.

So, was the TV channel just TV or Blue Dot TV?
