speaking in internet shorthand is no worse than speaking in ebonics. I hope that deteriorates enough so that no one can understand what anyone else is saying
So I got a new host for my website today. It's this place called FriHost, and they have better stuff than Freewebs. The catch is, you have to participate in their forums... Oh well, I can dig it.
Hey! Two new comics! Seems like they've been coming in pairs lately.
That one is a follow-up to the last comic. I kinda liked that Sandshrew guy. Too bad he's getting severely pummeled. Looks like I forgot Pichu's mouth in the second panel. [EDIT: Fixed]
With most of my comics, I try to make it so that the comics could be played out without even using Pokemon, but in this one I thought evolution would be fun to discuss. Look! Eevee is standing up for the first time since comic #1. Also, the many layers and transparencies in the first to panels were a major pain in the neck, and I'd suggest avoiding them.
Next order of business: If anybody has been keeping track, the next comic is #20. I'm gonna pull a fanmail issue, just like #10, except THIS TIME I'm telling you beforehand. So if you have any burning questions for any of the cast members, mail away!
I don't agree with the evolution comic. There is another side to the evolution debate, and the readers of the Orange Belt Forums have a right to hear it. Then they can make their own decisions.
...ahem. All that aside, as I think I've said before, I love your art style. It's very colorful, but it's not distracting at all. You do well at portraying emotion in Pokemon faces.
I didn't get the first comic at first. It took a minute. But, I just rolled out of bed a minute ago, so maybe that accounts for something.
That's not really the sort of question to have the cast answer, so I'll do it right now. Um... I like to draw Pokemon and they're cool? I figure, if people can do things with imaginary creatures like unicorns and dragons, why not Pokemon?
I caught the first one right away. It wasn't even one of those jokes that you see oming from too far away either. It was just right. It instantly reminded me of the previous comic and that made me laugh again.
If I need a question to get Meowth in the comic, here it is:
"You have a large coin wedged into your brain, does this impair your cranial ability at all?"

It's a good thing you got that. I was worried some people might forget, because it's been awhile since I updated. (20 days! That's a new record!)
For anyone who cares, I put an art section onto my site. It has all the stuff from that "school art" thread from awhile back. The links on that thread were taken off because I needed to save webspace on my old Freewebs host. But now you can see them anytime that you might, for whatever reason, feel like seeing my art.
I can't make a new comic now! I have to make every second of my 30 day free trial of Photoshop count by doing things like inserting images into other images, changing colors, and filtering things! Blurry, lens flared chrome goodness!
Shaggy. I didn't know who the Punisher was when I was making that, it's just what came up when I searched for villain. Then I added cool sunglasses and I was good to go!

I also have to mow the lawn.
Whoops, wrong date. I'll fix it eventually.
