I just got an empty postage-stamped envelope this morning. Sent out my GHIII disc, now I just twiddle my thumbs for 3-4 weeks I guess. I think I would have preferred to get the replacement disk first, but considering they didn't require any proof of ownership in the submission form, this is likely a necessary precaution. I'm gonna miss Barracuda.
I'm not disputing that, but I'd rather buy games for my Wii than my PS2.
More importantly, other people were asking about the GHIii replacement disk program, so I was trying to give them a better sense of its inner workings and expected turnaround.
Oh, I just realized what happened, I was on the last page, and didn't see the next page with illithid's question. To answer your question, kinda. But the Downloadable Content is making up for that.
EDIT: And yeah, it's Aerosmith. But judging by Neversoft's tendency to re-hash, I'm assuming that there are going to be plenty more Guitar Hero: Whatevers.
My roommate heard a rumor that they're going to be making a Dj Hero. I have no idea what the controller could possibly be or what songs could possibly be on it. I can't imagine them using hip hop songs since most use a repetitive beat.

All they did was trademark a name. Harmonix did the same thing for Drum Hero and Guitar Villain.
I actually am very glad they decided to rip off Guitar Freaks. I know the idea isn't completely novel, but 1) Konami didn't seem to have any intention of introducing Guitar Freaks to an American audience, so the only places you could really play it were in huge arcades or California. 2) I only played Guitar Freaks a few times, but I feel like Guitar Hero improved the formula, if only because itadded two buttons and made the game more challenging.
So good for them. They saw a potential market that wasn't being exploited and went with it. Too bad for Konami.
Yeah. Last year Konami was planning to release Guitarfreaks/Drummania (yeah, they also semi-beat Rock Band to the punch) into US arcades, but Betson, their idiot distributor, wouldn't do it. Same reason we don't have Beatmania IIDX arcade machines over here. CURSE YOU BETSON.

Which is good, because my disk got scratched by my brother.
I hope they include some of the patches the 360/ps3 got along with the mono fix, but somehow I doubt it.

I suck.
Last I heard he's revamping the menu system because the guy who programmed it in the other games wrote rubbish code.
He did suggest My Name is Jonas for GH3, so they do take suggestions from the programmers.
And it's Aerosmith, isn't it?
PS: My question was never answered. Does Rock Band lack the really hardcore guitar songs?

They'll probably just rip off a Konami game.
Again.

It's...an album from No Doubt? I wasn't aware that they were really guitar centric, I was under the impression that they were more suck centric.
Or at least 1990 No Doubt.
