Yeah, seraph has to do with angels, as do the seraphim in the Old Testament. That is pretty much a coincidence though, when I made up the name I registered it as 'sere' and 'phel' in my head. Angels are kinda dumb, but I've been using it for a while and don't want to change it.

I'm not sure this theme really leaves me much to work with.

Your username will always evoke the image of a possessed seagull in my mind.
  • edited January 2011
Me too. I think you'll have to go with that.

"X'o'Lore" was originally a name I gave to a little thing I'd draw in the margins of notebooks back in school. If I had a scanner I guess I could try and dig up an original drawing, but I am too lazy.

I know I have the original image I used somewhere, in fact I've seen the file fairly recently.

Sadly the actual name of the file is a long forgotten mystery.

    It's February. Nobody cares.
  • edited February 2011
    Is that the theme?
  • edited February 2011
Pffft. It was my birthday on the 1st. I was too busy being lazy to worry about an avatar. I haven't gotten over being lazy yet and nobody picked a theme anyway.
  • edited February 2011
Fab Feb. Make your avatar FABULOUS.
  • edited February 2011
Fabulous February. I have no ideas what to do with that one, but it's a start.
  • edited February 2011
Let's get this going again! Anything is fine, let's just make use of the larger avatar sizes!
  • edited February 2011
Yes, February/March is Avatar Optimization Month(s)! Fill that space with avatary goodness! The file size increase should also allow for more involved animations than in the past. Make 'em count!

I have just the thing that I never uploaded to my art thread.

I changed mine because it makes me giggle. So, the theme could be blind patriotism, reading, America, something funny, whatever.
  • edited March 2011
    Like this?
  • edited March 2011
    Exactly.
  • edited March 2011
    Heck yes Charlie Sheen.

    He's my new role model.
  • edited March 2011
What exactly is this whole Charlie Sheen thing about? I saw something about Bipolar, but I don't really get what's going on...
  • edited March 2011
This is patriotic for my little part of the midwest. "Teton" is french for breast by the way.
  • edited March 2011
Is that where the word 'tits' originates?
  • edited March 2011
    Probably.

    Well, it's almost April.

I think we try something a bit different: I believe most of us, browsing through the forums use avatars to find who is who at a quick glance.

Therefore, to stimulate us mentally, I propose Conformity April, where we all use the exact same image as our avatars.
  • edited March 2011
I was waiting to spring a concept like "No Avatar November" or "Avatarless April" on people. This seems to be in line with that sort of thinking.
  • edited March 2011
I will not conform to your conformist comformities.
  • edited March 2011
I refuse to conform to your lack of conformity!
  • edited March 2011
    Yeah! Me too!
  • edited March 2011
So what's our avatar gonna be?

I spent all of highschool conforming to nonconformity... I think I'll conform this time.
  • edited March 2011
Well then, let's all be nonconformist together!
