    NOT THE SAUSAGE MAN!!!!! NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

How do you always play as the most OBNOXIOUS characters...

alright, but don't make me play as Ganondorf, you know what he says,
    aaaaAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

and i say no pikachu, because i remember your pikachu.....

Heh, my Pikachu was pretty legendary, wasn't he? Luckily for you, my playing solely as Pikachu on the N64 made me a little sick of him, so I abstained from him on the 'Cube, and in fact came to despise him a little bit. When my opponent plays as Pikachu, I have a funny tendancy to fight only him until he's dead, even in 3- or 4-player matches. Potential Pikachu players out there, you have been forewarned.

I've got no problem playing as Pichu though, as long as he's wearing them cute blue goggles.

I play as Roy, so I'm safe on this respect. However, expect much Pwnage from me Mario, I'm formidable when it comes to SSB!
  • edited June 2006
Nobody who actually says "pwnage" is any good at anything. Bring it.

Don't worry I will. I most certainly will.

I will join geoko in his box strike. Snake fans of the world, UNITE!!!

    Ice Climbers FTW!

My friends who play as Jigglypuff get pissed when I use them, because they always use rest. Well, they dont anymore, but they used to.

I am terrible at Melee, but back when I lived in a dorm and had friends (pre-Gamecube) I was a shockingly competent Ness player.

And where were all of you two weeks ago when I had my box avatar?

i shall play as samus and kick some asses.

*joins in the boxy goodness, not because he likes snake but simply to add to the obfuscation of confusingly similar avatars*

*looks up "obfuscation" to make sure it is in fact a word and is both spelled and used properly*

Better question, where are you with your box avatar now?

Goggles or not, I rock with Pichu. Not that I can play any of you until Wii Wifi, which is actually the reason Brawl got delayed.
  • edited June 2006
Pikachu, young link, marth, and jigglypuff. It doesn't matter which I use. I can't wait to play you all online. It shall be glorious.

Sheik + Zelda will own you all, and especially teh mario.

Note the again changed avatar. I am king of the box strike movement.

I've seen that video all over the web, but that first "reveal" of Kirby's face always gets me.

Good Lord. Its like a Mario gay porn film. (But then all wrestling is basically gay porn without the porn)

    New Brawl video coming tomorrow!
The official Japanese website for Super Smash Bros. Brawl was updated today with some info that should get fans excited. A new trailer for the game will be shown at the Nintendo World 2006 events. The trailer will feature the first look at actual gameplay with the new characters.

In case you've forgotten, there are 4 new characters confirmed so far - Solid Snake (from Metal Gear Solid), Metaknight (from Kirby), Pit (from Kid Icarus), and of course, Wario. What about Zero Suit Samus? Well, she's not really a new character - just a new look which Samus will be able to take on during battle, according to her character page on the English site.

The first Nintendo World 2006 event takes place this Friday, the 3rd, in Nagoya. There will be two more events in November - one in Osaka on the 12th and the other at Makuhari Messe, where TGS was held, on the 25th and 26th. Admission to all events is free, so those of you in Japan should mark your calendars.

Other Wii and DS titles, including Dragon Quest Swords, will be shown off at the events as well.

We'll be sure to update when we get any more on the new trailer and other Nintendo World happenings.

    Oh, great. Fox is back.
  • edited November 2006
Eh....? I'm asumming that those aren't all of the unlockable characters. I'm disappointed no new ones were shown. :(
  • edited November 2006
Beautiful. For me the high points are Snake's RPG and the amazing looking levels. Fox also looks pretty.
  • edited November 2006
I don't like how Fox has his gun out all the time, and his new stance is kind of weird. Wario moved a little choppy in some shots (my friend compared him to Mr. Game and Watch, but it wasn't that bad). I like the "Hurry Up" and logo on the back of Wario's jacket.
  • edited November 2006
Why wouldn't all of the old characters be back? I swear to god if they dont have the Ice Climbers in the game I'm going to be pissed.
  • edited November 2006
I'm with Matt. I need some Ness action!

They said that all the old characters probably won't be in it, but from the way they said it I think they were referring to Melee characters specifically. Doubles such as Pichu, Young Link, Dr. Mario and Roy will probably be cut off. (Curse them, Pichu's my best character. Tiers, shmiers.)
