The server was down for a while. There's an explanation on the site. See, somebody tried to host a phishing site on the server to steal information from some bank or something like that. Everything had to be blocked off for most of the day.

Is that what that was? I was trying to read them but it stopped loading anything at about comic 12. If it's up, I'm gonna go finish now.
Comic 17 is great. #21 is funny too. In fact, I think I saw that one already, but I'm too lazy to go back through this topic and check. And I love Jigglypuff being a "P.E.G." too.
Here's Comic #26. A direct contradiction of when I said I wanted to get back to using mostly only main characters, this comic is the first since the atrocious "Easter Special Part 2" to not feature a single main character.
It was originally going to come out before #25, but I decided to delay it in order to keep the school-related semi-continuity. Like #25, Eevee was originally going to play a role, but she was neither tall enough to reach the counter nor bipedal enough to hold a grocery bag and talk at the same time. Therefore, I decided to resurrect an old character, last seen getting pummeled by an angry mob. I guess he's okay.
Actually, this comic is completely made up of returning minor characters: The Wartortle cashier from Comic #11 (redrawn based on Skippy's character because the original was really bad), the Sandshrew from Comic #18, and the Hitmonchan from Comic #22.
In other news, be sure to check out the new Sketch Dump in the art section to see drawings I've scanned in. There will be more soon.
I screwed up the scale in this one a bit. Wartortles are 3'3", and Sandshrews are 2'0", so the Sandshrew should be a lot smaller, instead of the same size.
No new comic, because I've been busy. Instead, here's even more scanned in sketches. They're quite large, because Inkscape doesn't seem to make .jpgs any smaller than .pngs. So I just kept them as .pngs because most everything else on the site is in that format.
http://www.prcomics.pennyracers.frih.net/u7small.png - This is rare. TWO decent Skippys as well as a Maurice, on the SAME PAGE. Featuring Gangsta Skippy. I drew a brick wall behind him, but it's light and doesn't show up at all in the picture.
Okay. I've been having no ideas at all for any upcoming comics, but I still felt like making something. This was pretty fun to make, and I had no idea it was this huge until I finished it. Wait for it...
I learned something! Cars are really hard and no fun to make on computers!
Though this was pretty much a draw, I think the toaster got in the best hits. Which is unfortunate, because I'm more of a racoon fan.
I made it over the course of two days, but I really only spent a few hours on it.
I made the ending kind of abrupt for just that reason: A series. However, I was kinda thinking we could make it a sort of community thing, where everybody continues from where the last person left off. It'd be interesting to see where it would wind up. By the time it's over, it might not even involve a racoon or toaster anymore.
I'm so glad you think it should be a community project, because the second I finished it, I started thinking of how I could continue it! We'll see how that goes.

Also, I added a characters page to the site and aligned all the side menus to the top. It looks a lot neater now.

As do I. That's hilarious right there.

http://www.prcomics.pennyracers.frih.net/u8small.png - A whole bunch of cars, if anyone likes those.
http://www.prcomics.pennyracers.frih.net/ucsmall.png - A whole ton of sketches that were good but too small to warrant their own pages. You can see that I've been experimenting with drawing foxes, as well.
In addition, I've updated the character shots for Maurice, Skippy, and Eevee.

I tip my hat to you, sir.
