    Like Aminal Crossing?
Are you implying that Aminal Crossing is poorly drawn but continued anyway?

Because I like the drawings in it, and it has most certainly not been continued for quite some time now.

No no no!! I simply meant like Aminal Crossing in the sense that it was a communtity project! Nothing with being bad at all! :D

But what if someone wants to continue the story, but he/she/it sucks at drawing?

    Do this:

I didn't knew toaster looked like humans.

Please use some form of grammer!! Either that, or edit your posts if you find an error in them.

    Agentcel, it wasn't that bad.

Anyway, I've had nothing in the form of ideas for quite awhile now, so I have no new comic yet. Instead, I made a minor revamp of Comic #1.

    Here's the original, for comparison.

The main changes include shadows underneath the characters, making Pichu's pupils bigger (to match the current comics) and just some general quality control. All the panels are larger, while the comic itself is smaller. I also fixed the font, which was different in the first few panels for some reason.

I probably should've added something into the background. It's very plain. But whatever, it's an improvement. I'll do the others eventually.

    EDIT: Comic #2, New/Old

Okay, if you're going to chide someone on their grammar, at least spell the word grammar correctly.

General Salt and Agentcel: Can we try to not descend into a grammar related flamewar here, the classic signs are starting to show up. Grammar isn't such a big deal, and you shouldn't need to bicker about it.

(Sorry if I sound too much like a mod here, but I thought I might as well step in)

Night Lord's right, gang. (I know, I'm frightened too.) Let's keep our focus on Hlavco's comics.

I think the panel size changes help a lot, it makes it look less like a scrapbook of various pictures of pokemon talking. Rock on!

    Hmm....

Anyway, I like the changes, the text is easier to read, and Eevees paw looks like a paw, not a block of wood. Hooray. But could you make a comic explaining the red in the pokeball?
  • edited October 2006
The red in the Pokeball would've led to the story if I had decided to make it a story comic. In case I ever decide to use that idea, I'm not gonna tell you what it's all about.

    Flamewar? WTF?! But er...okay.

Gasp-a-roo! You changed the direction in which Evee's tail is pointing in the first comic.
  • edited October 2006
It's like one of those "find the differences" pages!

Also: Gasp-a-roo. Now that's an old one.
  • edited October 2006
Yeah, I have no shame in admitting that that post was pretty much just an excuse to say gasp-a-roo.
  • edited October 2006
yeah, don't worry, we've all got the urge to say gasp-a-roo before.

Hey! We've beaten out Spyro's thread for third-most replies! The Intro thread is goin' down...

No, this isn't a reason to start spamming this or any other thread. Don't do it.

What comic are you gonna revamp next?

New comic. Narrowly dodged the cliche jokes there. Phew.

What's up with the text in the first pannel? It doens't fit in the word bubble.
  • edited October 2006
Inkscape's been weird lately. Lemme try to fix it.

EDIT: Fixed. That was really odd. Sometimes weird things happen, like oftentimes somebody's eyes get cut off for some reason. Usually happens with Eevee, sometimes Maurice (that was giving me problems this comic as well). I don't see that text-scrambling as much, it must have to do with trying to center-align it.

Pichu seems to suffer a bit from charlie brown syndrome, doesn't he?

Speaking of VGCats, while I was making that last comic, I accidentally deleted Pichu's arms in one of the panels for a second and it reminded me of that style they sometimes use. It was interesting.
