    I just finished playing with the settings of Microsoft Word and AutoCorrect on my work computer.

    Now, whenever I type in "awesome", it autocorrects to "Ryan".

    *PHEW*

    I FINALLY finished translating 'The Battle of Maldon'! It's a 320 line Anglo Saxon poem... and I translated it all! I think it must have taken at least 10 total hours over this whole weekend... ugh.

    The question is, does it still rhyme and does the rhythm and meter still fit? I don't doubt your prowess, but just look at the vast majority of Canterbury Tales modern translations. They suck for actually being poetic.

    Either way, Ryan achievement!

    Actually Anglo Saxon poetry rarely rhymes... it alliterates. Rhyming was a convention that only became popular once the French moved in.

    Problem: bacon cooks a heck of a lot faster than turkey. Looks pretty burned in the final photo. I'd suggest putting it on toward the very end of the turkey-baking process.

    I for one like burned bacon better than normal bacon. Kinda like some people are with marshmelows.
