    I had a dream about a Rick Roll. I think it related to Pee Wee Herman dancing to Tequila, because it was on a juke box. I Rick-rolled with a juke-box in my dream.

    I got a projector! Still need to get my brother's sound system, but now I can play HD content in the living room and have it actually be in HD! Succelsior!

    Oh yeah!! This weekend totally rocks! Here were my tasks at the beginning of the weekend (remember, my weekend is Friday-Monday).

    Read Black Boy (a 400 page novel)
    Write a 4-6 page draft, with the intention of publishing it in a reader for freshmen
    Translate 35 lines of Old English Poetry
    Study for the Old English Midterm

    It's Sunday morning, and I've already read the book and written the draft. Monday is the day when I meet up with another dude from my class and do the translation. So I have the rest of the day off!

    Also, my next paper isn't due until the 18th of November.. so that means I can stretch myself out and take next weekend to plan the rest of my class! I'm past the crunch period of my first semester of grad school! YEAH!

    I like old english, it's a pain to work with but it's honestly pretty gratifying.

    I read most of the original Beowulf then I gave up and read a translation haha

    I managed to take 1st place in every instrument in a local rock band tournament. I won $30.

    There was a Guitar Hero 3 tourney at my local Circuit City, 1st prize was a $60 gift card.

    I'd need to buy rockband and get really good at it first though. Can't have you all show me up, that wouldn't be good! Cept that that would require me buying some sort of next gen system.....

    Well, I can keep up with guitar and bass anyway.

    I too wish I could rock out with everyone here. It would be great to be able to go through World Tour mode with everyone on expert.

    I have a 360, but I have neither guitar hero 2/3/Rock Band/Rock Band 2

    Never been a big fan of the whole rhythm genre.

    I have a 360 also! But its actually my brothers. So I don't I guess since its many miles from where I am now. But he does have Rock Band 2!

    My roommate has a 360. We have all the peripherals for rock band too, just not the actual game. Some day...

    ...how strange.

    On a related note, the video store near us has a copy of Guitar Hero: World Tour for rent!

    But it seems you can't get the peripherals with it. Do you just rent it for the guitar, or what?
