Okay, could everyone please stop replying to the spambots? They can't hear you. They can't read your replies. They aren't going to listen to you when you tell them to stop spamming. Just leave the threads alone and eventually a mod or admin will delete them.

There's only one real solution: Insert a blank on the sign-up sheet where you have to enter the capital of Wyoming. I know I'd have to look it up, but the spambot wouldn't stand a chance.

I don't see why they can't just use e-mail verification for accounts. It's simple and keeps my forum spambot free.

I think it was to prove that there is, in fact, a sign up email verification required.

For the record, we fixed the thing wherein a new member has to post a number of times before making a thread. We've had a bunch of spammers sign up since then, but none has been able to make a new thread.
