I guess this means no getting Smash in celebration of completing my internship. Oh well, what do I care? I'm going to GDC. And I've got a hell of a lot of stars to collect on Galaxy and I haven't even touched Twilight Princess.
They're screenshots from a movie that was put on Nintendo's website. It has since been edited to cover them up, but YouTube still has the original video. I for one couldn't be happier. One of my main characters is back, and the only new character I actually predicted would show up in Brawl did.
If you count Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard separate from Pokemon Trainer (which makes seven), then how about Captain Olimar, Red Pikmin, Blue Pikmin, Yellow Pikmin, Purple Pikmin, and White Pikmin?
Pikachu, Pichu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Pokémon Trainer, Lucario.
Of course, some of those aren't confirmed yet, so we can't say for certain, but Pokémon have always been over-represented in Smash Bros. games due to the damnable PokéBall.
Bah! I remember when Tamagatchi was the big thing and Pokemon weren't even released here!
Like when that other company started pushing the Digimon shit because they knew Pokemon was on its way over to the states and they wanted to get a leg up on it.
